Okay Liz, now the Mom in me is worried you should have gone to the doctor to double check if you needed stitches. Hopefully all is well.

I've never gone on an air boat. It looks like fun, but so noisy. Someone told me the sound is behind you and isn't really bothersome on the boat itself. What did you think?

The airboat is noisy but we have headphones on so it isn't too annoying. This is the second time I have been on it and may go with DD and her BF in December. Last year we went in late November but the water was much lower and it was cooler so where we went and what we saw was a bit different. Regardless we saw a lot of little and big gators and lots of birds.

I probably could have used a few stitches, but it will heal up okay. I am putting antibiotic cream and non-stick gauze on it with one of those self-sticking wrap bandages which is much easier to work with than multiple bandaids. I am keeping it wrapped in the shower so the bandage won't get wet. Today when I do the bandage change I plan to leave it off for a while to allow some air to get at it to hopefully start to get a good scab. When I am doing anything other than sitting around I do need to keep it wrapped though.
