Good morning! The bagel finger will be revealed later this morning. I don't think anything like muscles or tendons were cut but it bled like crazy and I had to bind it with a ton of bandages. I was afraid to dislodge them at all yesterday. I do need to change it this morning though. I told Mike it was such a shame that I won't be able to cook for a while (LOL - it is on my left index finger and I am right-handed so it won't make a huge difference).
The hair cut/highlight was way more expensive than up North - twice as much! It is much darker than usual - I told her it had gotten too light and showed a picture of when it was the color I liked but it seems really dark to me. She did say it would lighten up some after a couple of washings but we will see. I suppose I could have her lighten up a few strands if necessary when we get back from the Thanksgiving trip.
Our friends leave late this afternoon. In the meantime we will do a bit more touring and go on an Airboat ride I booked for this afternoon. It will be good to have a couple of quiet days before we leave for Thanksgiving week.
Have a safe and healthy Wednesday!

Shirl, I'm so sorry about your girl! That had to be so upsetting.
CT scan results came back and I do have mild diverticulitis. But they report on everything they see, which I can see is why they don't do these things willy nilly because it just gives you things to worry about you didn't notice were wrong! I also have a kidney stone, significant spine degeneration and disc space loss between L5 and S1 in my back, cervical and ovarian cysts, and two indeterminate lesions in my liver (one 3 cm) my doctor said he'll have the gastroenterologist check out and maybe do an MRI for. He didn't seem worried, but it makes me feel old...
So a colonoscopy and possible liver MRI is next after my "flare" is over and I'm done with the antibiotics. I want a life do-over!
Looks like a snow storm also might be a problem for my trip back to MI next week. I looked to see if I could move it up, but there's nothing available.
Still doing fine on food. Once I'm healed, Operation More Fruits and Veggies begins...
So sorry about the other stuff they found. The disc degeneration is fairly normal for people our age, however, significant is not a word you want to hear about degeneration! I'm so sorry for that. Hopefully, you can start up an exercise and supplement regimen to help slow down the progression! Thinking nothing but good thoughts for you!
I grew up with a bone and joint disease. They were always taking x-rays to monitor my growth. You'd think the way the orthopedist carried on I was disabled. I felt great! So, yeah.....Totally understand that!
BTW, I had a big old lesion on my lung in my 20s. FREAKED ME OUT!!!!! Turned out to be nothing more than temporary tissue inflammation from a mild bout of pneumonia.
I think I'd be really blown away about stuff they would see in a scan on me - certainly a lot of bone degeneration but I would guess it isn't abnormal as we age? We were talking tonight about how much more mobile we are than probably 50% or more of our friends. So maybe knowing less about how our body is aging could perhaps be a good thing sometimes?

Shirl, I'm so sorry about mama cow. Do they have knackers in Australia that will come and take care of the cow? Hope so. It always saddens me so when a mama dies from delivery complications.
I am having a carb centric lunch today and enjoying it - homemade SPAM masubi made and given to me by one of my puppy people. Quite delicious!!!! No guilt, no shame.
Excellent workout yesterday. Knee is slowly recovering from the weekend. No commitment to eating for weight loss yet.
Had disturbing life dreams last night. Work dreams about not showing up to work and not calling for a sub and Ron issues came out in dreams, too. Sigh.... Good evidence that things are not all they should be at the moment. Need to work on improving that.
Dropped off the RV yesterday for repair. Probably won't see it again until the end of January or mid February, maybe longer???? For now I can "dog show" from my 1997 Ford E350!
I am feeling a bit drained today. Luckily, not much to do after my PT Knee class, which ends at 4 pm.
Happy Hump Day to those of us worker bees!
