VSG Maintenance Group
Sunday October 24, 2021
It is 12:30 already. Where is everyone? Busy I hope. We just got back from Fort Lauderdale and are now driving to meet Mike's friend for lunch.
Yesterday was crazy - meeting Mike's former co-worker for lunch (the guy talked about himself constantly making sure we knew how much money he had etc), picking Mike's son up at the airport (fairly easy pickup considering it was at Miami International), then out for drinks and dinner. Mike's son was so clearly happy about being back. He had several of his friends come for dinner too so we left them behind and went back to the hotel afterwards.
Justice was thrilled to be picked up and come back home this morning.
We are almost at our destination.
Have a safe and healthy Sunday!

Greetings All
We are supposed to be having a major storm but so far it is plain rain. Ok with me. Rain needed and don't need doggy drama from a thunderstorm
Speaking of doggy drama, old dog Chip is getting pretty spacey. Yesterday he stood in the house and barked for hours. Not sure what he wants but he quiets down when curled up next to me. Thats fine but then the puppy attacks. Why did I think I could manage 3 dogs as easily as two?
Our football team did not play yesterday so we watched the Ducks. Fine game but my studio buddy was sure cranky. Puppy was bugging her too. I think gloomy weather makes us all cranky.
A childhood friend of mine died today. She was one day older than me. She had suffered from Alzheimer's for awhile, left her home a few days ago and had a bad fall and skull fracture and it all was bad. I spoke to her mom who is now 93 years old and right as rain. So sad. We were next door neighbors and grew up together.
Not much else going on. I need to get up and pick up stuff in the house and file papers and get rid of crap. But that means DAS Boot. Thump squeak thump squeak. Hope I can get rid of this soon. I want to see if I can get the same benefit with ankle tape or an ace bandage.
Chicken corn casserole from the health food store deli tonight. Hope its decent. Cheers all. Diane S
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Alzheimer's is sad no matter how it progresses so perhaps your friend was better off avoiding the last stages. Now she can be at peace.
