It's still dark here in Florida at 7:15 am. I kind of hate how the days are getting shorter but at least it is warm here.

We are leaving in a couple of hours to pick up Mike's son at Miami airport as he returns from 6 months working abroad. He ordered a lot of items ahead which were shipped here so we have to load the car. When his son asked about it Mike thought it would be a couple of things but there are at least 10 boxes LOL.

We are meeting a former co-worker of Mike's for lunch on the way, then tomorrow we are meeting a long-term friend who he talks to daily on the phone (I met him last year for the first time).

Good news about SIL who had started a targeted therapy for lung cancer and developed pneumonia. It is all cleared up and they feel it is safe to try the medication again but at a lower dose. Apparently the usual dose is the same for a 110 pound woman as it is for a 300 pound man so perhaps it was more than her body could handle. It does mean she probably can't come to Florida for at least another month though so they can monitor her - maybe not until after the holiday.

I have you beat, Liz, sunrise is at 8:12 here in MI right now! It'll be nearly 8:30 right before the time change.

I've been hanging out a lot with MI guy. I am liking him more and more. He's started opening up more and I'm finding myself very comfortable being around him. I don't mind his quirks and I think a lot of the early issues were extreme nerves. I'm sorry to be leaving...

Food is good. Only 10 M&Ms. Lots of exercise moving 3 patios of outdoor furniture to the barn (for low maintenance individuals, we're not low maintenance house people). Township meeting this morning about projects related to my new role on the board of local non-profit (Mi guy roped me in, he's president).
