Me too, compost in the fridge, before I put them in the actual compost bin outside.

This morning I went to another town to shop for kitchen countertops. I think I found one I like. Quartz, white with a little navy veining and very occasional gold flecks. https://shop.cambriausa.com/collections/samples/products/por trush

Just did some cleaning and laundry. How quickly things get dirty even without a dog!

The sun is trying to come out, but the clouds are winning.

I didn't do very well on eating yesterday. Too many peanut m&ms. I should ask the grocery store to ban me from buying them. No personal control...

Ooooo.... I like that Quartz!

Had to chuckle at your comment about peanut M&Ms.

Very pretty quartz. I love navy and white.

Yeah, laundry and cleaning - like dishes they are the never ending tasks. While you are doing them more is building up for the next round.

Thanks for all the support and good advice everyone. I had a good experience with Prozac except for one thing, Speaking very frankly, it did suppress my libido. But I was 30, and things were still okay. How to put this tactfully? Things are different at 60, but I'm not ready by any means, for that part of my life to be over. But maybe like other medications I was afraid of, it would turn out fine in the end. I'll think on this some more. I've done talk therapy too, and found it incredibly useful.

Liz, you're right, I know my work is really depleting me. The workload is measurably more than previous years, I have a caseload of 20, instead of 15 or 16, and i agreed to an overage, I'm fulltime plus. Some kids did fine during Covid, but some have real trauma, and trying to meet their needs is tough. I have thought about switching districts (special ed teacher shortage, its a seller's market!)... I definitely will not do an overage next year.

Again, thanks so much for the support, I'll keep working at this, and finding ways to get some balance here. You know how people have those signs, live, laugh, love? Well my family bought me one that says, "Time to drink champagne and dance on the table". It's in the dining room. :) I will find my way back to dancing on the table. Who knows, maybe in New Orleans next week!

Short trips with dancing on the table certainly can't hurt (as long as you don't fall off LOL)!
