Oh Shirl, I'm sorry you have to deal with this. So constraining. The small business people must be suffering huge financial losses. One has to wonder how long it will take to get the economy back ultimately.

I feel so much for what you're going through! I can't imagine!

Greetings All

Some important truths here. Choosing not to eat after others have finished sounds familiar. No one wants a passive audience while eating and as people with weight issues we know its uncomfortable having others watch us eat. Makes one feel like some kind of show. And yeah I get it too on the announcement "we don't need lunch due to a big breakfast". No one else should decide when we need to eat and its a form of fat shaming though probably unintended.

Speaking of fat shaming I may write a letter to comedian Bill Marr. I like his show but he often talks about how Americans eat unhealthy stuff and should have used all their covid time off to lose weight and get in shape. He so doesn't get it and I feel the urge to 'splain it to him. He acts like its easy. Big dope.

Shirley hope you can get some family visits soon. I so understand the reasons for strict lock down (ie the bad example of USA) but seems pretty tough. Around here we are only 55% vaccinated and the vaccinated rate is not going up very fast though plenty of shots are available. A certain number of people just won't take direction. A friend of mine has a daughter who is total anti-vax in all matters and has 5 kids. Guess they are home schooled which lots of folks around here do. I just don't get it but then I remember polio.

Poppy is bigger everyday and has most of her new teeth. She was 6.48 ounces at birth. Now about 12 pounds!

Today I ate a piece of birthday cake for brunch. It made me feel sick. It always does - eating a sweet thing with nothing else. So why did I think today would be any different?

Well BB, your football team beat mine. But at least the Huskers did not totally embarrass themselves.

Its a beautiful sunny blue day here and the birch trees in the back are starting to turn. Ditto the front maple. Methinks it needs pruning.

I have been AWOL from the swimming pool lately. Must fix that.

Liz so glad your SIL is doing better. Blessings.
