My heart goes out to DD, Peps, all other teachers, and the kids they have to help beyond just teaching a lesson. There is nothing more important than our next generations.
In my mundane world we made it to the east coast of Florida. All is well here but somehow I got some tendinitis in my foot while packing stuff in my place. And I got a note from my physician that they want me to see a cardiologist because of my "resistant" hypertension. Crud! Now I have to pick a cardiologist but I feel weird about asking anyone. Why do I feel uncomfortable about that? Getting old stinks.
Not much else to report. I am thinking of Diane O as her family gets ready for her mother's services tomorrow.
Have a safe and healthy Wednesday!

Had such a nice day! Our other friend who also relocated back to Wales from CA during Covid drove over to spend the day with us. Lots of climbing and walking ensued.
Guy from MI texted again to see how my trip was going. Nice of him.
Tomorrow we head to Chatsworth House. So looking forward to it!
Sending love to DianeO...
I agree with Peps: The MI guy DEFINITELY likes you.
How much longer are you there btw?

I do, but a trap I have fallen into before is being so grateful someone is interested in me (since men very rarely are) that I don't give enough thought to whether I really like them. I guess I can convince myself I reciprocate feelings - mirroring them, if that makes sense, more than having my own. I think I'd need to spend more time with him to know. So maybe this being very slow and not spelled out is good for giving me time to think.
And I still don't know if he's aware I'm a good bit older than he is!
Liz, I have never heard of resistant hypertension, but it is label that makes sense. I have wondered from time to time if hypertension is individual like body temperature. I run at a lower temp than average. For me 97 is normal. At 99 I really start to feel like crap. Is it possible that your BP normal is a high normal, like my body temp is a low normal?
Thinking of Diane O, too. Didn't know services were tomorrow. Thanks for letting us know, Liz.
Ceci, thanks for the pics on fb and also directly to me. The gardens are amazing! The one bursting at the seams with begonias and color is fabulous, but the other more subtle garden was my favorite.
Great workout yesterday. RV batteries arrived and have been picked up. Will install tonight.
Weight is back up, but understandably so. Lots of water yesterday, an intense workout and a little too much in the way of sweets all add up to a little extra water. Still, nothing I can't manage and I am able to own the number without remorse or upset.
The knee is still bothering me a bit. I wonder if I do have a bit of arthritis. I'm thinking an IT band massage (OUCH!) is in order. I will do it tonight. The tension on that band could be the culprit.
Well, lunch is almost over, so back to the grind!
"Resistant" hypertension means medications don't bring it low enough. High normal is okay but my resting BP is often in the low 140's over 80 and it will climb as high as 170/90 in a doctor's office.
I hope the new batteries do the trick!
