Peaceful and calm! I love that!

I spent an hour on the phone with a bank with which DH had an office account. They had sent me a notice last year that if I didn't claim it it would be turned over to the state. When I originally called back they told me they had already sent the unclaimed funds to the state. They said it was a substantial account so I should make sure to reclaim it. The state couldn't find the account transfer after many calls and over 8 months. Turns out the bank NEVER sent them. So I had to send a bunch of paperwork to the bank. What a royal pain.

Other than that, today is sort of a day off as DS drove our friend's wife to NH again for an appointment, etc. She will be staying with us starting tomorrow. No real change in the friend's status though it is clear that he will be staying here during his hospitalization as the wife found out it would cost $20K to transfer him back to a NH hospital. I guess maybe buying one of those travel policies might have been helpful? I need to look into that.

Anyway, have a safe and healthy Wednesday. I am going to TRY to eat on plan today.

Greetings Friends

Diane so glad you had a peaceful day.

Mine was not peaceful but just full of errands. Pick up mail and gallery money, get change, go to studio, go to other gallery, take picture of plant, get groceries including organic beef dog bones for the creatures. How did I ever hold down a full time job!

Today has descended into carbs. Had some orzo salad for lunch and just ate a few pita crisps. Not cool. But I did get some ground lamb for dinner which I will have to hide from DH. He gets plain cow burger.

Boy do the carbs make me want a nap.

We are watching a series "Truth be Told" about a true crime pod caster. Octavia Spencer. Great show.

Thats about it. Our neighbors are up to some big building project. This town is like Mayberry.

I walked this morning and ran errands. Nothing interesting! I did well on eating until after dinner. Grr.

Storms tonight which will be nice because it's really sticky here and needs to be blown out!
