Hello All
Popping in from our 5th lockdown - so over COVID................. Spent a chunk of Friday evening cancelling our holiday for the second time. Totally devastated - our flight was due to leave at 4.30pm on Wednesday. Thankfully I have been able to get refunds on all but $230 so thats a better outcome. I was stressed that my Stepson would loose a huge chunk of his hard earned $$$. We are waiting and watching but I dont know that we will try again this year. Its just too stressful - or might book with very short notice
Im also isolating at home awaiting COVID test results. Both DH and I came down with sore throat and cough Saturday night so tested Sunday morning - results are taking between 24-48 hours to come back. Thankfully I can at least do some work from home and my boss has been very supportive. When you work in such a small team - you have to make good choices in order to support the wellbeing of the remaining team members
Not a lot else to add. Just saw the news that our "snap" lockdown which was supposed to end tommorrow night will be extended due to case numbers - we are waiting to hear for how long.
