Graduation party day. The risk of rain has increased a bit again but hopefully will hold off until late when most people are gone. It will be cloudy and humid all day though unfortunately. I am anticipating a tiring day.
And I am starting off tired as Justice kept bouncing on and out of the bed last night as he did the prior night. He needs a long walk to get rid of his energy and hasn't had one for a couple of days. Hopefully one can be fit in today.
I hope my energy level stays up enough. I have been on a new BP pill for the last month and it is causing me some fatigue and swelling in my legs which is a common side-effect of this drug. I think there is some edema elsewhere too but mostly in my feet. I am afraid of what the scale is going to say about this added water weight. I am hoping the doctor can switch me to something else.
Not much else to report until tomorrow when the cleanup from today will begin. Have a safe and healthy Saturday!

I was on blood pressure medication before surgery, but was able to stop once I lost some weight. I also am not a fan of how some of the meds make me feel. Unfortunately, my blood pressure is increasing, so I might be on medication again soon. Just thinking about it makes me feel all jumpy, I don't know how I'll ever get a typical reading when I get so worked up just thinking about it.
You just can't cut a break on the weather! My daughter is going to a wedding on the Cape next weekend, and the high predicted is 73. The bride is not happy with this forecast, but what can you do?
DD and BFF are going to the beach today. Tomorrow, DD goes to Boston, and BFF goes to stay with her sister and another friend for a week. I'm looking forward to a quiet week.
Still enjoying the lower carb eating. 9 more days to dig in before we go on vacation. If nothing else, I'm hoping I lose enough to offset any vacation gain so I'm not actually fatter than ever before in August. Goals.
Greetings all
Hope the rain holds off for all festivities today.
We had rain. In our bathroom. DH decided to change the toilet workings and the shut off valve. So he goes to the hardware store, shuts off the water, gets the valve in, and turns the water back on. Trouble is, the valve was not closed. It erupts into a geyser!! Every towel we own is now on the bathroom floor. My studio buddy was here so we had a good laugh. I had suggested we hire a plumber to do this but.... So now the bathroom ceiling is being mopped.
BP meds can be weird. I took one before WLS but was able to stop it a few weeks after. Now I am up again (both weight and bp) and back on a different one that also addresses tachycardia. Seems ok.
The toilet workings needed changing because the water district called and told us our usage was way up and we should look for a leak. As I told them. we had a litter of five puppies all pooping many times per day so we flushed toilet a zillion extra times. They thought that was funny.
The big green bus was back for a couple of days but they assured us its going far away. Yay. Maybe they need some wet towels.
Thats about it. Off to see what else can go wrong around here.
