LOL! DD bought one of these yesterday after I told her I couldn't manage a stone one.

Greetings all
How can it be the middle of July? Didn't we just have November elections? Time sure flies.
Liz I so hear you on that fire pit. During the last couple of years I have come to the conclusion that I am officially an OLD PERSON and I just can't do projects like that anymore. I am still dreaming of new floor coverings but it will only happen if I go to the expense of hiring movers to move stuff out and back in. Some asked me in the gallery how much an item weighed (it was a large leaf shape made of concrete). I told them if I could lift it, it must be under 20 pounds. It wasn't bad and I think it was made with concrete that had lightweight stuff mixed in. Anyway its all I can do to carry a 25 pound of clay from the store. Never had much upper body strength but now I am a wet noodle. Oh well.
Food wise we are in a rut. I bought a lasagne made by the safeway deli. Its not good, even with extra cheese added. DH wanted to feed it to the dogs. I told him ok, if he was willing to clean up dog vomit. So he didn't. I think I will stop at the health food store and get some good steak. Plu**** the farmers market.
I have been thinking about Ann. Her area is getting slammed by the delta covid variant and I hope she is ok.
Now that California is opened up again (though beware the delta) our galleries are doing well. My current task is some tax planning so we minimize income taxes. My idea of fun.
Peps, off to more dog shows?? So glad you have the Goat for travel comfort. You may not need a water heater. I once stayed at a resort in the Phillippines that had no ho****er. Water tanks were on the roof and it stayed so warm that no water needed to be heated. Of course, there was no cold either but there was always a pitcher of ice water available. That was one of the most relaxing places I have ever been. Someone came by every morning with a water buffalo pulling a cart and swept up any seaweed that had washed up over night.
Yikes Cecily, I hope Captain Annoying is leaving soon. I had a friend who was married to a similarly annoying man and I could never figure that out. She is a fabulous person and he is a jerk. The only thing I can figure is that they have been together since they were teens and she does not know any better.
One of the puppies, Walter, has an instagram account. Walter of the Wild West. He is pretty cute. But so is our Poppy. She is more mellow than her mom Tesla.
