Congratulations to Blitz and Peps!!! It's true I don't understand all the dog show jargon, but I can hear the elation in your post.

Full house again, as my son and girlfriend and dachshund arrived for the weekend. My extended family is having Thanksgiving in July, since we couldn't gather in November this year. So far, 27 adults, 7 kids. Should be so much fun. Leaving here in a bit.

Not much to report. Took a long walk. Doing some laundry. Reading. Beautiful day!

Yesterday we had a good day with Mike's daughter and son-in-law at lunch and 2 SILs and 2 DDs for pizza at my house. Today Mike golfed and I went shopping and to lunch with the SILs and eldest DD. Tonight is date night. How am I ever going to lose weight with all this going out???

Weather looks iffy all week. After a very hot and sunny start in June it has been rather cool and dreary in July which is usually our sunniest and hottest month. Strange.

There is a gigantic lime green school bus parked in front of our house. Neighbor teenager is fixing it up to be some kind of RV. Its in front of our house I guess because she has another huge trailer in front of her house which she is making into some kind of welding studio. Good to have a hobby I guess. I wouldn't mind too much except the two big things make it impossible to see to back out and there are constant power tools being used to do the work. Oh well, it will pass. Soon I hope.

FYI. Peps success at the dog show is a big deal. Winning at a terrier specialty is important because only the creme de la creme of dogs show up and the judges are very discerning.

Poppy is adorable but she sure chews and bites. Old carpet will never be the same. I just trimmed her front nails for the first time. She has one ear kind of wonky but I am hoping it straightens. She is a terror for an hour or so then sleeps 3 hours. Sleep mode right now.

Dinner last night was leftover tacitos. Other leftovers tonight.

Thanksgiving in July is a good idea. Then you can make men cook the turkey on a grill and skip that job. Chinese take out for thanksgiving would be fine with me (said the crabby old lady).

I am enjoying pictures of the pups that are sent to me. They all look more like their dad I think, but part of it is color. Tesla is red and dad is tan.
