Good Morning All
Back at work for me after driving down from the farm yesterday afternoon. I enjoyed having the house to myself and posted myself into bed at 8.30pm for a much needed early night. DH is staying at the farm with the dogs and chooks.
Going to have a cuppa with my friends autistic son tonight after work. We have just come out of another lockdown and he doesnt fair well mentally so I wanted to check in with him. Hes much better face to face so at least he knows someone is thinking of him. Then will collect some books on the way home and then likely just pull a homemade meal out from the freezer. DS isnt home till Wednesday so Im making the most of the solitude.
We had a lovely weekend with my best friend, her husband and their adult autistic boys. Pizza at their cabin Friday night. They came for a cuppa Sat afternoon and I sent them home with beef & veg stew for their dinner. They came for brunch Sunday after we had picked up our fruit trees and stayed till mid afternoon. My SIL and BIL also popped over for brunch as they had just returned home from the city - the more the merrier! The orchard has been set up for all the trees. DH cousin is bringing out 6 apples and 3 cherries tommorrow when he is finished at their orchard - he will show DH how to prune. So in total we will have 24 ish fruit trees ranging from citrus to stone fruit to apples plus we are putting in 4 grapes, 4 raspberries (2 different varieties) and 2 boysenberries - I will pop over and grab some of the thornless berry bushes from my SIL - as they have been passed from DH mum and dads farm - so hold special meaning. All of that means I will be preserving like a mad woman once they all get established and start fruiting. Plus we will have a lot to share with family and friends which makes me happy.
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads and Fur Dads :) Hope you get wonderfully spoilt and have a fabulous day

So you will keep one! I would want all but would HAVE to just keep one. There was an incredibly sweet puppy transported on our plane from Aruba to his new family in the US. Just about Justice's size (as a young puppy) and so, so sweet. Sometimes they are very nervous when they are transported but this one was full of love and quite playful. We all fell in love with him in the airport waiting area.
