06/14/2021, Flag Day Monday
Good Morning All
Super quick pop in - I have been at work over 2 hours already and the day is just hectic. I need to leave around 1pm so I can drop an order to a client. Taking a work Ute
Long weekend was good but busy as expected. Super happy with the new lights. Wrapt to be able to get to the farm and move our 700+kg puppy dogs to the front paddock. We fixed the tree guards so the gums should withstand the pushing and attempts to be eaten. DH is thinking he will try and get up there mid week and stay a couple of weeks as we need to prepare the orchard for the barerooted stock we are hoping to purchase next weekend. Always a big to do list.
Have been awake since 2.30am when my Mums medi alarm company rang to check she was still with us - as power had been restored to her house and it was going off. I couldnt get back to sleep. So today will be a long day as I have meeting with Financial Planner after work today. Thankful Mum is making dinner tonight as we wont be home till 7pm. DS has an exam this morning so its all happening today.
Diane O - Loving the idea of a book club with your DD's. So proud of you and how you are handling a very difficult journey. Stay dry
Liz - Sounds like you are having a wonderful time in Aruba with Mike and DD :)
DD - Loving reading about your Hawaii adventures. We loved our time there.
Peps - Your post struck a cord with me more than I realised. It amazes me that so many of us have such similar feelings from our time growing up...... Hugs to you
Cec - I read your post about feeling awkward and Im with the others - your Dad should have moved everyone outside or at least come and got you - you didnt do anything wrong. My heart ached for you reading that. And UGGGGG re the tick - glad your hair is still in tact
Diane S - Thinking of you as the puppies start to leave the nest. Must be super hard
Hugs to all - I had best go and get more work done. Getting no-where fast today at all
