The weekend is here! Which for us retired folks means more people in the stores, LOL.
We had a good dinner out last night at the new outdoor restaurant here (entirely open with only a roof). It is a cool place with great burgers and fantastic music. We all had 1/2 of our burger so we have another meal leftover.
Yesterday they took 3+ alligators out of the pond in my development. One was 10 feet! No guarantee that there won't be more as it is mating season and they are moving around a lot from one water location to another. No walking Justice near the water!
Tonight we are meeting friends for dinner at a place on a dock on Venice. At 4:30! A little early for us but the wife likes to go early. I guess it gets us home at an early hour, but it does limit what we can do during the day. Maybe the pool?
Have a safe and healthy Saturday!

Weight: bad! I've been battling evening eating. Not usually my thing, but I'm having trouble with it.
Painters are coming today to paint my pergolas, shutters and doors. I cleaned out a guest bedroom that was becoming a clutter dump. Two more dump rooms to go. So true that clutter expands to fit the space we have.
That's all I've got!
And to fill closet and drawer space!!!

I guess 4:30 does limit your interaction with those weekend crowds! I'm afraid when I retire, I could pull an Elvis, and stay up all night and sleep all day. 4:30 could be my breakfast.
No outdoor activities here, the cold rain has arrived again. There's always things to do around the house. DH has to work, and DD is still in Boston, having a great time.
I've only had chai latte so far today, and I am arguing myself over whether I'm eating toast or Greek yogurt for my first meal. Quite the scintillating life I'm leading here. :)
Not sure if I'm coming or going ! I've got to fit in a visit to see my mom before Friday, when we leave. We'll be home for a brief week at the end of May, to pack our remaining things. I LOVED my sister-in-law's compound, where we left SS. She has several large ponds, with no alligators. The house is 3/4 packed, and as meticulous as I was about labeling boxes, I'm clueless. This "part in part out" stage makes me CRAZY. Tell me you'll visit !!
