Good morning! Still very muggy with a chance of thunderstorms here all day. It is a summer weather pattern but should improve by Thursday.
The SILs and I had a good luncheon with at our friends home. Really nice to get together with a bunch of fully vaccinated ladies and catch up! I'm not sure what the plan is today though it probably depends on the rain. I might cook tonight (haven't done that in a long time).
I got a little background on why DS is so upset about DSD staying there though it doesn't mitigate his overreaction. I'm going to text him a brief hello today but that's it. There is no point in talking to him until he calms down.
Have a safe and healthy Tuesday!

Weight 184.8. Eeek. I had a run-in with a bag of Goldfish crackers. I was walking with my AirPods and had another bout of motion sickness with them on (it only happens about 1 out of 10 times). Motion sickness makes me really crazed to eat something carby and salty (weird when you're really nauseous, but it strikes me a bit like a dog frantically eating grass when they have a bad tummy). So I overdid on them and the scale showed it!
This morning I went to Starbucks with my friend. It was so great to catch up! Nothing else scheduled.
Hope you're all enjoying your days!
Greetings all
I am so lucky. I get to sit here and listen to the snorfeling sucking sounds of the puppies. Tesla is kind of agitated and going in and out of the box. Not sure why as things seem fine. All the pups gained weight today except for fat boy stayed the same. It sounds ridiculous but it is hard to weight them as they wiggle so much.
DH jus****ched Apple's big announcement event detailing new products. He totally geeks out. I will probably have to get him a new iPad. And I think he wants me to replace this iMac because, gasp, it is four years old!! And now they come in Purple!!!
Not much on today. Trip to the bank and maybe food store.
Went to the cardiologist yesterday. He is having me wear the two week monitor again which is no big deal. I think he is being overly cautious but works for me. Thank you medicare. It means no pool for two weeks. Oh well.
Enjoy spring everyone. I feel like getting a steak.

Good Morning All
Another rainy day here - winter is coming ugggg
Im working and then will drive up to the farm with the dogs and chooks. DH will follow after work Friday. Its Anzac Day on Sunday and he is doing a Lighthorse re-enactment as part of the march. 6 of them will be in full Uniform and ride the march. They have all put in a huge amount of time and effort - its going to be amazing to watch. DH has 120 year old saddle that he purchased many years ago from a Lighthorse Digger - hes maintained it beautifully. At this stage I think nearly all our children are coming up Saturday night to stay so they can watch him march. Special memories and remembering those who have fallen. Lest we forget.
So today will just be getting organised and packing the car etc. Physio at 12.30 in my lunchbreak. Im super exciting
Liz - Sorry you are having to contend with all that stress. Its not fair at all!
Diane S - Give those puppies a cuddle for me please
Cec - sorry about the dizziness :(
Diane O - thinking of you as you work through a ton of lists
Peps - Hope you are having a better day
DD - Hello
Also to all that follow

Here we are in Minnesota, almost a year later, with the legal confirmation that George Floyd, RIP, was indeed murdered. May this be the beginning of change. May this be the beginning of more justice.
Yesterday, DH's car had a fatal engine part failure. He had to have it towed from a home improvement store to our house. Lucky for our AAA, we have one free tow a year, sad that they won't tow it to the salvage yard, it's final destination. His van was 21 years old. I've been after him to replace it, but he continued to wring every last cent from it. So we test drove a few cars and bought a used Ford Explorer. He took up biking again last year, and he needed something that could hold his bike. I'm so happy he was willing to spend a tiny bit more (still a modest amount for a car) to get what he wanted. So I can't move as fast as Ocean Diane when it comes to where I will live, but I do okay buying a used car in one evening. When your list of must haves are things like, starts reliably and has a working speedometer, there are a lot of options to choose from!
Still hanging in there at school. Kids who were quarantined in the first wave after spring break can start coming back tomorrow.
