Puppy heaven!

Good Morning All

Weekends just go by so fast - whoooooosh and here I am starting my second last week in my current job........

Spent the weekend at the city house and got lots done. The veggie patch was cleaned up, turned over and new winter veggies are in there. Chook house cleaned up and a big yard tidy. Its looking much better out there now. I got our breadmaker out of the box and made a couple of loaves. Oh my - they are yummo - sent one to mum to enjoy. Also made a buttercake and a lime and coconut syrup cake to take to DSS tonight as Im on desert.

Today will just be work and Physio at 11am. Ive pinched a nerve in my lower back - right where it joins the buttocks area and man is it giving me Jip ! Sitting is hard so Im best to stay upright and moving.

Liz - Sorry for the seperation from Mike while your SIL visit - Can he come up and stay a night or two while they are there?

DD - Lovely to hear you making vacation plans again :) Gives you something to look forward too

Cec - You are doing so well with your exercise - Im in awe of you - send some motivation my way please!

I had best get moving. The to do lists are growing my the second. I just need to focus on staying motivated for the final 2 weeks

I am hoping the SILs will agree to visit Mike's place for a couple of days to see where I will be living. It's pretty nice there. And one SIL's parents lived in the next town south when they were older and I thought she might like to see it again. But maybe not as she didn't seem inclined to want to go anywhere when I checked before they came.

I hope they would like too - do they get along with Mike well? Assuming they have met?

Yes, they have met and liked him. But at least one SIL is still quite paranoid about going places though we are all fully vaccinated (and Mike hasn't been anywhere I haven't been so no additional risk).

Yes, I did Noom. It is very informational and would work well for many people. However, the coaching is computerized pre-programmed responses. I need to be heard as an individual. I felt like I was paying for something I didn't receive.
