Tesla's puppies look so cute in the picture from yesterday! New life always gives us all a smile.
One more day at Mike's, then tomorrow I drive to my place for the SIL's visit. I am looking forward to it, but will miss the place here. I really have grown to love this area.
I wa****ting golf balls on the course for the first time yesterday! We sort of played 9 holes. I had a few good shots and some lousy ones, LOL. And I discovered there is a darn dress code! No sleeveless tops unless they have a collar and no denim or yoga pants. I wore an elbow length tee shirt and a skort. I also have found that I need to wear a baseball hat to keep sweat out of my eyes. Not too great for the hairdo...
We had a wonderful dinner out with friends from home last night. We are going to two of our favorite places here for music this afternoon and dinner this evening. I always feel sad at the end of the Florida season as if my "vacation" is ending and this year it will feel that way twice (leaving here, then leaving my place in 3 weeks).
Have a safe and healthy Saturday!

When I was in my 20s, DH wanted me to learn to golf, so no lessons, we went to a 9 hole course where no one else was really playing, and I tried it out. I knew how to putt and chip, but not drive. My score for a 9 hole par 3 was 87. And I was tired. So tired. I'm with Diane, I prefer to "caddy". Golf courses are so pretty, it's a nice way to pass a few hours.
Yard work here today. Our vine cutting neighbors are getting an estimate for a privacy screen. (DH still does the neighbor type chat, I just say hi). Oh please, oh please. My antipathy knows no bounds.
Tonight we're meeting some friends for dinner at a favorite restaurant in Minneapolis. Can't wait.
All carts here!!! I am not bad with the initial driver, but not great with the irons getting near the green.

Weight 184.2. Do you all do this? Where you eat a ton and then your weight stays the same and then all you can think about is how great the scale would have been if you hadn't eaten all that?
But I had a great time at the movies and stuffed myself with gobs of delicious movie popcorn. Way, way too much. I couldn't stop and at the end of the box felt a little ill. Even the roof of my mouth is a little torn up. Worth it! We saw French Exit with Michelle Pfeiffer. She was terrific. The movie was strange, but neither of us cared a bit. There were 6 people in our theater.
I took my car in to fix the sunroof and they didn't finish, so I have the loaner for the weekend. It's not nearly as fun as my car. But at least I have a car.
I did a 2 mile walk last night even when I didn't want to, to erase a bite or two of movie popcorn. Today I have no set plans (oh, except to call an old friend of my mother's who called me. I don't like her, but it would be rude not to return the call. Grr.)
Hope you all have a great day!
Every once in a while I have a fun loaner but usually I miss my car. I really like Michelle Pfeiffer so will have to look into that movie.
