Happy Easter all!

We are going to a late brunch/early dinner at the club dining room here with DSD. The weather here has been very windy and cool for DSD's visit, but we were still able to have an enjoyable visit. No walking or sitting on the beach though (way too windy).

Today is also Mike and my 8 month anniversary. Seems like I have known him longer... Which is a good thing.

Have a safe and healthy Sunday and Happy Easter again!

Happy Easter! We did not go to Mass this morning, but looking forward with hopeful hearts to the next few weeks when DD is also fully vaccinated and we can return to church.

Last year it snowed on Easter, today is brilliant sun and warmth. Today feels like hope.

We will be heading over to my brother in law's house for an Easter brunch. My favorite kind of holiday, the kind when someone else does the work and I am a guest :)

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Got my irrigation pipe fixed yesterday. I was chatting with him while he worked and was standing next to an orange tree covered in blossoms. There is no better smell in the whole world! My absolute favorite.

Today I'm going to our family friend's house for Easter brunch.

I think that's it. Happy Easter!

That is a beautiful fragrance. I like to drive around in my parents neighborhood in Florida with the Windows down, taking in the orange blossom smells.

Happy Easter! I am a church widower this morning.

Chiropractic adjustment and a massage and my back is still killing me! UGH.... This has been going on a week now. YUCK!!!!

Back to school tomorrow. 40 more teaching days of this school year. I very much want this year to be done and to return to a normal routine in August. Fingers crossed.

Down another .4. So almost 8 pounds since I started contemplating losing weight. Interesting that it took the road trip to kick start it, though.

Easter festivities this afternoon with Ron's siblings. We are all vaccinated so feel relatively confident in our gathering. We still plan to keep it outdoors, though it's a little brisk, IMO. Lovey is going to come along. Ron gets to show off his girlie!

Here's a pic of Blitz from the Texas shows. He's clearly the rising star of the pack. I also just love HIM.... He's such a great young dog. Very people oriented, wants to please, easy going, and a natural show dog....

A great dog is such a pleasure in life.

We had such a nice family brunch. The weather was insanely perfect, we ate outdoors. I met my nephew's girlfriend, got to play with my great nephew who is 14 months, and got to catch up with several of the nieces and nephews I haven't seen in what feels like forever. It does a heart good.
