It is Monday already! Time to start getting things in shape at the house here as we go back to Mike's for 3 weeks on Thursday. I will come back here on 4/18 when my 2 SILs arrive for 10 days. I may not see Mike for that time which will be the longest since Christmas. After they leave, he will come here as his place is rented for the summer. We leave for Cape Cod on 5/6, taking 3-4 days to drive.
Eating was pretty on plan yesterday. We will see what the rest of the week looks like. DSD is coming to Mike's for Friday-Sunday so there will be a lot of going out then.
Have a safe and healthy Monday!

Good morning from Quanah, TX! I pulled in to The Ole Towne Cotton Gin RV Park late last night sometime around 10:30. Let the dogs play in the dog yard (actually a good sized paddock), fed dogs, fixed my own dinner and plopped into bed sometime after midnight. I decided to sleep in and have a leisurely morning. So after tending to the dogs and cleaning up dishes from last night (unlike me to go to bed with dirty things in the sink!), here I sit with a nice cup of coffee and a home cooked breakfast!
The trip to TX was worth it. Blitz kicked some butt winning the National Sweepstakes for the Airedale Terrier Club of America and then on Sunday he won Winners Dog under a highly respected terrier expert. Some people were not too thrilled that a puppy won, and that the terrier expert is a friend, but Blitz truly earned the prize. It was not a "gift".
Eating over the weekend was less than desirable because I didn't eat meals until the evening. All I did was snack throughout the day, which for me is a not so good way to manage my intake. As an example yesterday I ate two or three (see.... not sure because I didn't sit down and eat...) packages of peanut butter crackers, a handful of candied pecans, and Ruffles potato chips. That was it until I made my dinner last night around 11:15 pm. Today I am off to a much better start!
I plan to drive to western New Mexico today. That way I should be able to do a long haul through Arizona on Tuesday, over night in Barstow and be home by late afternoon on Wednesday. 13 days on the road with 3 dogs and a pup all by myself was a bit of work, but I am not going to lie, I enjoyed almost every minute of it. Now that the puppy has been safely transferred to the next transporter, the dogs and my travel life is much simpler.
I did catch up reading posts last night, too. Lots going on. Liz and Diane Mc, glad you had lovely vacations. DD, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! LOL! Vegas has everything for everyone! I would actually see if you can find a bra there. Ceci, we should talk Texas. I am telling you, it's like CA on steroids. I really feel at home. Well worth checking out! Shirl, I hope your work situation works itself out ASAP. BB, your weight is fine! It's just a blip up. It'll come right back down. You're good at sticking in that 150-160 range. Can't remember the last time you were beyond that except when preggers.
Be well everyone!
Interesting comments on TX. I have only been there briefly to a hotel on business once or twice so I have had no exposure. Such a huge state!
