Our last morning in Siesta Key! But we are going to the dog beach halfway between here and my place for the day as it will be quite hot. A little treat for Justice since he hasn't been able to be on the beach here (just the deck).
I MUST start working on losing the latest regain tomorrow. In the meantime, we are getting little mini donuts this morning... Such a bad thing to do but we did hold off all week as it is the place to go in the morning around here.
Have a safe and healthy Saturday!

Oh my, do I hear you about the regain. She says as she gets ready for vacation.
We don't leave until this evening, so I still have time to get ready leisurely.
The house is pretty tidy, and our daughter will be here to take care of kitty etc.
My husband's sister was teasing him, let me understand, you stayed indoors for 11 months and now you're going on your second trip in a month? What can I say, we have a lot of pent up wanderlust. Being vaccinated makes it less stressful.

Weight 186.8 Up again. It was a nice 24 hours.
My dad and his wife got their first shots in MI yesterday. A relief.
I was hungry and wanted to eat last night so with no calories left I went to bed at 7:15 to read. A benefit of living alone - no one to judge what I do!
No plans today.

It did. I think it was more a desire to eat than it was real hunger. I know logically they are different things, but they ring the same bell so to speak. In my brain, I feel a *****eated out of the 200 calories I cut out. I think that will pass if the scale starts moving steadily again. And my family room where I hang out most of the time is one big room with the kitchen, so being in there, the fridge and pantry are in my line of sight and they call to me. Better to be out of the room entirely. Out of sight, out of mind.
I could stand to go to bed that early today! I woke up at 2:30 am this morning and never went back to sleep. I thought I'd sleep on the beach bu****ching a dog constantly is like watching a child at the beach. And Justice has gotten so friendly now that he has been in daycare a few times.

Greetings All
Yay me, I have put together all the stuff to take to accountant for taxes. Treating myself to two caramels. Neither needed nor deserved but oh well.
Regain is the enemy of all. I am certainly in the regain boat having been on the rise before covid and OMG has covid done it too me. Just hoping we drop down a tier and the pool can open.
But spring is here even though the rain is not over. Loads of daffodils and tulips and blooming trees. And I have seen some camellias as well. Rhodies on the way.
I am scurrying around trying to find some pregnant dog supplements but we are such a backwater that not much is available. Got some fresh dog food and we will see how they eat that. Old dog stands and barks at us all the time and its not clear what he wants. I feel that way too sometimes. Just want to bark for no reason.
We are really getting into "For All Mankind". Loving how they change history and work it into the story.
Thats about it. Cheers all.
