It is our last fully day on the beach. Yesterday was super windy so hard to sit on the sand but today should be better. We had a fantastic dinner out at a steak place last night with great food and service.
During our morning walk the other day we ran into a fellow Mike played college baseball with. We are meeting he and his wife for lunch today. What a small world as he originally came from the town I grew up in and knows many of the people I know from that time.
Not much else to report. Have a safe and healthy Friday!

Weight 186.2 Hallelujah! Finally a drop. Walked 3 miles.
Well, I am missing those 200 calories, but if it restarts my progress, then I guess it's worth it. I didn't end up doing the beach walk as we got a little rain and it was cold and windy. I did walk in my neighborhood in the evening and was perfectly comfortable until I turned around to walk home and found I was walking straight into the wind I hadn't felt on my walk out. Brrr. My eyes streamed and nose ran all the way home. Weather can be strange and interesting!
I have Pilates today, but that's it. And I need to go pick up some turkey for sandwiches. An exciting day. Ha!
I'm missing hearing from everyone. Maybe it's just like those weird lulls in group conversations that happen every once in a while...
Funny, but I almost posted a couple of days ago that you would probably have a good drop after a few days. My weight loss always seems to go that way which is why I don't like to weigh daily while in weight loss mode.

Liz, that's quite a small world story.
Cecily, I am missing our other tribe members too. Congratulations on the scale finally acknowledging all of your hard work.
I am sad today. A very good friend of my parents passed away yesterday. He had some health complications this winter, and tested positive for Covid last week. On the drive home to Minnesota from Florida, he was admitted to a hospital in Atlanta, where he died. They had been in Florida since November. I suspect this very good man is no longer with us because he believed the rhetoric that Covid wasn't such a big deal, and the vaccine was suspect. So unbelievably sad.
I finished up work today, powered off my work laptop, and put it away until spring break is done. Time to start packing for my 4 days in Las Vegas. But first, a bit more cleaning so the house looks welcoming when we get back.
So sorry about your friend. And so sad if he could have been spared via the vaccine.
Cleaning prior to your trip! I do that too!
