Good Morning All
Hump Day here and honestly cant wait for this week to be over....... I was told yesterday that finally after close to 3 months of them going backwards and forwards - the changeover date will be 1st May. Contracts should be finalised today and apparently they have our letter of offers ready to present. I told my director that he is free to mention that I intend to negotiate - of which he finally did yesterday. I need to have my offer by COB Friday to negate the 5 week payout on notice of termination. Its all just yuk and very stressful. Hence Im focusing on the weekend when hopefully it will be brought to an end - one way or another. I still feel sick when I think of all the travelling......
Went to look at a new RAM for BIL - it wasnt suitable. Did some potting of plants and dinner then watched a bit of TV. Rainy here so not feeling much like getting outside. I feel like I have been whacked with a big stick TBH
Today is work, then I will start preparing green tomatos - going to make an old fashioned green tomato chutney. The plants are still going crazy and the sun is getting rarer as we are now in autumn.. Good way to use them up. I have a dinner with my best friend and the autistic guy we help care for - it was his birthday on Monday and he wanted to try this italian place. Thats about it for me
Peps - save travels to you. How are the new crates in Goat going? Bet you are glad you had them made - especially with a 12 week old puppy! Thinking of you
Cec - You always bring such good thought in your posts. I wont discuss my eating of late - safe to to say it stress eating at its finest so I really wouldnt have anything to contribute at the moment
DD - Enjoy the visit with your SIL. Hope it goes well
Hello to all who follow (hopefully) and miss our regular voices. Much love and thoughts to you all
I had best get my butt into gear

Greetings all
Not much new here. I am imagining all the airedales frolicking in snow. Bet some have never seen it!!! Drive safe Peps.
Yep Cici, eating with other people seems to make for overeating. Seems like the entire planet is set up to make us eat as much as possible. But then, not that long ago, most people spent all day long just trying to get enough to eat. Some still do. First world problems indeed.
I have two days of gallery duty ahead but it gets me out of a zoom meeting. Could probably take my iPad for it but then its just double torture and there is nothing of importance.
I made meatloaf the other night and it was not very good. Think I overcooked it and it dried out. But boy does the little expectant mother want to eat it. She ate so much I thought she might do a midnight carpet bomb. Chip likes it too. Go figure.
My friend who lives in Mexico is here for a bit. She wants a pup. She has one from our last litter which was 15 years ago.
Man the wind here is bone chilling. You walk around a corner and it blasts in off the ocean.
We are watching a series called "For All Mankind" or something like that. Its about the space race to the moon only they tamper with history and make an interesting show of it.
Time to pick up the house for cleaner tomorrow. Such a life. Diane S
