Hi everyone, Its not often I get to start the thread!
It's a bright sunny day here, with lots of bird song. The variety of birds at my feeder is increasing, I guess the literal snowbirds are coming home. Some gold finches today. They, along with the cardinals (which are singing their hearts out right now) are my favorite.
Got the Costco run done yesterday so I'm restocked on my healthier standards.
Cruising through my last week of fulltime distance learning. I have a lot of feeeeelings about returning to in person instruction. Nervous, excited, a bit overwhelmed ...
Remember last year at this time we had a big trip planned to NYC. Some of the activities we bought tickets for (and then had to cancel) are sending emails they are opening up. Like the first robin sightings, this seems to be a good sign. Time will tell. I get my 2nd vaccine on Wednesday!

Weight: I think it was 188.6, but honestly, I just remember the 188 part so the .6 is a guess. This is my first gain for the week! +1.8 argh. That was one sushi dinner, one lunch out and one binge evening.
I'm on track now, but disappointed in my day's weigh in. But I just need to keep going!
I went and got my hair cut and colored, so that feels good.
That's all I've got...
Good Morning All
Weight 179.52 - slight drop but not deserved as Im stress eating big time
Things are finally coming to a head re work and its not looking good. 7 days till expected changeover and the contracts are not finalised to my knowledge. It makes for an incrediably stressful environment and Im feel very wrung out. I could potentially be out of a job by 1st April ! Hoping to get a letter of offer within next few days so I can begin negotiations ......
Got my hair cut and coloured last night - least I look human and I have a pedicure and eyebrow wax booked for Thursday night
Going to look at a Ram for my BIL tonight after work and thats about it. Rainy outside - kinda matches my mood
Thats about it for me - another day in stressville
S
Its more if they will accept the terms I want to negotiate with them - as I cant sustain 3-4 hours travel each day ongoing with my family commitments. As far as I know they are keen to employ me so I guess time will tell as to how keen vs making some allowances for a possible partial week working from home
No - unlikely re unemployment benefits due to DH but even though its a tough market out there - Im sure something would come up. They are getting hundreds of applications for single jobs due to high unemployment re COVID layoffs etc
