I hope Diane O. Is having wonderful weather on Pawleys Island! It is phenomenal here. Yesterday was fun bar hopping and OMG this hotel! Tonight we are going to dinner at a restaurant on the island you can see in the background of the picture below. Mike made reservations 3 months ago.

In the meantime we are eating our breakfast (I am clearly NOT losing any weight on this trip).

Weight 187.6. Bounce up. I walked 4.5 miles yesterday.

Retinol update, I'm finally past the hard peely part and my skin looks really good!

I still haven't gotten the text from my friend's husband, but I will go with your advice and take the vaccine if I can get it.

Today is maybe a grocery store trip (I'm in the midst of a raspberry obsession right now and wherever in the world Driscoll's is getting their raspberries currently they are particularly delicious). Also some walking.

Waiting for my virtual visit with the endocrinologist to start. So many appointments!!! I prefer health problems that you have surgery and then it's done. As my surgeon friend says, Heal with Steele. But happy to have good health insurance.

Liz, this whole trip looks beyond spectacular. Kudos to Mike for celebrating you so well.

Good Morning All

Another day - Hump Day for us. DH got his negative COVID test back and mine will be the same - so we will head to the farm tonight after work. Will be nice to be back up there.

Not a lot else going on. I have some Roma tomatos in the dehydrator - will see how they turn out as Sun Dried Tomatos. Running out of things to make with the tomatos..... I made stuffed capsi**** last night - have 7 leftover - good to use up the produce from the garden. Must plant out our Autumn seeds next week when we get home.

Thats about all I have today - feeling a bit flat

Happy Birthday, Liz!!!!!!! So happy you get to celebrate after so many years of not really celebrating your special day. I'm also thrilled for you that Mike has really done it up right. Not going to lie, I'm kind of envious! LOL! There is just something so romantic about that balcony overlooking the water, the sunset last night and now this breakfast! Hope you are feeling like a lucky girl!

I'm kind of stressing about my time away. Sub plans for distant and in person learning for a week is sort of knocking me for a loop. Luckily, each is a "half day", but the work and planning involved putting together a week of plans is almost overwhelming. But as my principal likes to say, "You got this!" and I really do. Just feeling the stress to get it done right and well.

Weight is stable.

The reality of traveling to Texas solo in an RV with the dogs is beginning hit. LOL.

It is so nice that so many of you are looking forward to trips, or are on trips to warm regions! Pauley's Island, Jamaica!!!!! Sounds so fun! Such a vacation is not on the horizon for me, but I am looking forward to an RV camping/dog show trip with the dogs up to Oregon this summer.

Thought I had more, but I guess not.

OH ate my first post. Not that it contained anything earthshaking but I don't want to wear myself out typing!

DH took the electric car in for service. I went to pick him up in the old gas hog car. I actually had to scrape ice off the windshield!! Haven't done that since Nebraska. We don't have a scraper so I used a kitchen spatula.

I am feeling fatter by the minute but can't seem to get my act together to fix it. I so hate cooking now I just can't be bothered with fixing healthy stuff. Guess I could go the nearby health food store and get stuff off their hot food table every day. Might be an option.

Still not sure if pups are on the way but if I had to bet I would say yes. She is acting weird and apprears just a smidge bigger even though she is not eating well. I gave Chip a bite of Monterey jack cheese and he put it in my shoe.

Seems so odd to by 5 pm and full sun still out. By the time I get used to it it will be Christmas.

Still treading water with shot #1. Everyone is masked up around here still yet new cases occur daily. Its mostly young people who I think go to house parties.

Yay Cecily, rose skin!! Sparkly car. What could be better.
