We are on our way to Key Largo for tonight (Key West tomorrow). We will get there around 1. The sun is shining and it should be warm and beautiful.
And we had a fun dinner on the beach and watched the sunset with old friends of mine last night. Life is good.

Weight 188.6 weird little plateau.
I had a long hike with my friend yesterday. And then I bought a new car! I surprised myself. I wasn't planning on it, and thought I was going to need to order what I want, but they had one that had most of what I wanted ($8000 less than what I would have ordered, so that's nice) and I learned that Covid is really messing with their supply. So no dealerships are trading cars, orders are running 5-6 months and a lot of options are not available because of shortages of semiconductors and other parts. So I have a black car with a black interior which I never thought I'd get and 85% of the options I wanted, which was good enough. And I went from 2 cars to 1, which is easier to manage.
Nothing going on today except reading the manual to figure out how this thing works...

I just traded in a BMW X5. The new model of X5 looks almost exactly like what had, so I figured after 6+ years something totally different would be a fun change. I really like them both. Both companies have the unfortunate practice of letting you have certain programmed features that become subscriptions after a few years and then become unavailable after 6 years. My BMW recently lost 2 features I really relied on, so the timing was a combination of wanting those back and also not needing the Fergmobile anymore :-(. The gross part was on trade in, I got almost as much for Ferg's cheap car as I did for the BMW. They REALLY depreciate rapidly.
