It was 22 degrees here on Cape Cod when I got up! But the sun is shining and I was able to change my appointment for my second shot to a location quite driveable for the day I get back to Florida. We will just go out to dinner in the area afterwards. Yeah!!!! I figured once I got out of Florida I would have more luck getting into the online system and it worked.
I had a cheeseburger yesterday that I ate for two meals which must have had a ton of salt in it. I drank a record amount of water yesterday evening and didn't have to get up during the night. So I am BLOATED.
I will see my two SILs today which I am looking forward to. Tomorrow I am visiting with friends outside (they aren't vaccinated yet so don't want to go in). It is supposed to be warmer tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow and Wednesday I can get Justice out to run in the beach.
So everyone eligible has had at least their first shot except the SIL with 2 forms of cancer. But we are pretty sure she will get in this week as she has two waitlist possibilities close by and two definite appointments she would have to travel for. She will go to whatever works at this point. Even DSD who is 47 has had her first shot. I have so much hope now that essentially everyone will have them in the next few months. The systems are finally getting in place for that to happen!
Have a safe and healthy Monday!

Weight 187.2. Down 0.8 for the week (even with the dinner and lunch out and full day not eating at home. woot!). 35 overall.
I mostly just read yesterday. It's cool and cloudy, so the outside wasn't terribly inviting. I had a seriously case of the munchies, but managed to stay within my calories. All I wanted to do was eat!
(deleted because it felt yucky having that out there. Apologies)
Argh, this got depressing, I'm sorry! At least I know what to talk to the therapist about this week. Ha.
Nothing on the books for today. I think I'll keep reading and try to stay out of the kitchen. Maybe a walk?
I hope you all have happy days!
That's a lot to deal with Cecily. You shouldn't feel guilty as anyone would feel the same. You love your Dad and will continue to be there for him but it brings you down especially when added to your own personal feelings due to so many months of isolation. I am glad you can talk to your therapist and us about it.
Like Devon, I am sending you a virtual hug

I've got a fierce headache today, probably because of my fretting about DH's lack of vaccine. Anyhow, I watched the Minnesota Department of Health press conference, and the reporters are asking about unfilled appointments around the state, and the officials answered yes, that's an indication they need to open up to the next tier. Let's hope so.
Not much besides work. I'm going to take a little nap to see if I can push back the headache before making dinner.
I wasn't able to read the Sunday Paper yesterday, so maybe that ordinary pleasure still awaits me today.
I truly think that the process has improved so much on getting the vaccine out and most all will be vaccinated within the next few months. SIL got hers today - yahoo!!!

Flying past - better late than never huh
This morning got off to an abrupt start with DH incorrectly setting his alarm - meaning I was up at 5.20am to run him to the train station for his first day back in the office. Plus side I got to do some peaceful research on accomodation places for our Far North QLD trip in July with DSS and his family.
Had a great day with my Stepkids and grandbabies yesterday. I was run off my feet as I constantly work over there to help them keep on top of things. Fell into bed last night. Both the boys have head colds - catching a lot as they have both started child care 4 days a week. Everything crossed I miss it. Their parents have both had it. Drizzly day here today so thats not helping either
DS is healing well and has gone back to Uni today. He will be home in a few hours so will be interesting to see how he managed
Mum is coming over tonight - she asked me to help make Scottish Stovies - thats code for she brings the ingredients and I make it for her. Shes staying for dinner so that will be nice. Also going to look at a horse float with DH and DSD partner around 7pm. Hoping the rain has let up by then - fingers crossed
Thats really all I have. Im in my last month of working from home. Still no formal offer as they are still sorting out the business figures - and sooooooo we wait n wait. Its not doing wonders for the stress levels at all
I had best go get some more work done
Take care all and stay safe
