Off to a slow start today. Yesterday I was having some severe pain next to my scapula which seemed to radiate from my neck. I couldn't sleep with the ache so finally got up at 3, took some ibuprofen, and fell asleep sitting up. It is better this morning but I am feeling like a tortoise.
DiamondD asked whether I would miss my Florida friends if I moved. Absolutely! But because I have hardly seen them in the last year it doesn't seem to be such a big deal anymore. Another thing Covid has caused is the loosening of some relationships. I do think I could form new friends elsewhere. But bottom-line is that I don't plan to make any real decisions until late summer. At that point if I am still with him, Mike and I will have been dating for a year so will be making some decisions about our relationship anyway. In all likelihood if I move officially in with him, I would rent my place out for a while regardless.
Anyway, have a safe and healthy Tuesday!

Weight 188.6. Bounce. I walked 3.2 miles fast yesterday.
I picked up Fergie's ashes and the clay paw print they did for him. Made me tear up again of course. I think I may put them in Lake Michigan this summer. He loved swimming and chasing his bumper into the water over and over...
My fountain repairs start today, I'm getting my hair colored, and headed to my dad's to watch Barkley overnight. My dad is getting a gnarly skin cancer thing mohsed off his temple at 7am, but it's in La Jolla at Scripps and they are getting a hotel room instead of leaving at 5:30am.
I think that's all I've got! Hope you all have a good day.
Good Morning All
Back at the city house and was up late organising everything here after being away. Its exhausting trying to work full time, maintain a farm and also the city house. I slept badly - think it was because I had my mind going at a million miles an hour.
Today is another busy one. Work and chores in breaks. We picked a huge load of tomatos when we got home last night so they will need to start chopping them up to make more sauce. Need to get the raspberries we picked from SIL on and made into jam. We will give her some. Picking up a gorgeous Miners Day Bed for on the verandah of the farmhouse once built. Have someone coming at lunchtime to look at a scientific calculator that I have potentially sold - part of the ongoing downsizing. Plus parcels getting collected from ebay sales over the weekend. I have a huge piece of Silverside in the slow cooker - we are going over to Stepsons and I will take dinner. Tommorrow is shaping up to be a little quieter but again out for dinner.
Liz - Sorry to hear you suffered pain in your neck. Hope you can get comfy today and maybe an afternoon nap is in order
Cec - Big Hugs and I think laying him to rest of the lake he loved to frolic on is just perfect. Enjoy your Barkley snuggles too
Hello to all that follow, I had best keep moving. Still in my pjs!

It exhausts me reading about all the things you do! I wish I had your energy level.

Liz, Your plan sounds very solid, hanging on to your place by initially renting it. It's awesome to have options.
Cecily, I bet that footprint did bring lots of feelings. Thinking about Ferg romping in Lake Michigan is lovely thing to contemplate.
It was fun to see students today, although administering the ACT is the worst kind of task. It's very detailed, so you have to pay attention, yet tedious, the worst combination.
It's nice winter weather here, 45 degrees today, bright sunshine and lots of melting.
Off to my somewhat long drive to get my hair done.
