DD arrived safely and we had a good day yesterday. The weather mostly cooperated and was warm with a few showers but they didn't last. We ate lunch at a Tiki bar in Cocoa Beach and dinner at a casual somewhat historic place downtown which used to be frequented by Dodgers players. Today we are going to the driving range, to the beach club for lunch, then to an outdoor venue for some music. Dinner location is up in the air.

I just looked on TT for a Ferg picture and found one from September 2019. Ferg has been such a wonderful family for you Cecily and we will all be thinking of you and Ferg and your tough decisions over the next few days. Love to you both.

Have a safe and healthy day and definitely hug your fur babies close.

Is this site running slow for anyone else? At first I thought it might be my tablet, but it's opening other sites the same.

I'm thinking about Cecily and Ferg and hoping they are enjoying a bit of sunshine today. Today at breakfast we reminisced about furbabies we loved and still miss. They are entwined in every part of our lives.

I have 2 reports I must finish before I fly away Tuesday. I just wrapped one up now, and I think I will do the other tomorrow.

I got an email this morning letting us know Monday morning we will be sent a link at 7am to a website to reschedule our covid vaccine. The website opens at 7:30am. Let the games begin! Hopefully I can grab a spot. It would be great to have that off my list of worries to ruminate about.

And there won't be a roof at all?
I have an area attached along the entire length of the house (9x3 m), though under a canopy. The floor of the deck beam (planed board with chamfers, gaps between the boards 2 mm).
Larch, but a friend made of spruce - also no problem.
And about the swamp... If there is a depression, the swamp will flow on the side, you need to solve the problem of drainage.
By the way, I made a screed under the pad, as the grass is tortured, and climb to pull it somehow humiliating. You can read more about pads and resting on them here - https://trimthatweed.com/best-outdoor-glider/. I wish you the best of luck!

Good Morning All

Waking to Cecilys news re our beautiful Ferg x Sending you my love and strength. Our furbabies are a huge part of our family. I for one feel blessed to have been able to get to know him through your posts and pictures. Hes a beautiful gentle giant who you have cared for selfishly x Tears with you xxx

Our family BBQ was so wonderful last night. Everyone had a great time. Lots of laughter, playing with the grandbabies and as always food. We hadnt all been together since Christmas. It was long overdue. We got home a little after 9.45pm and then cut up 3 kg of onions n 1 kg of apples needed to mix thru the 8.5 kg of tomatos we did yesterday before we left. It needs to soak 12 hours in the fridge before being made into chutney.

So today is another busy one, hoping to get the dogs bathed, taking DH to Costco to pick a tool drawer for his birthday present, then collect the 20kgs of tomatos that were not ready yesterday- then you guessed it - lots of chopping n making of sauce n chutney. We have leftovers for dinner so at least we dont need to think about cooking.

Liz- sounds just lovely. So glad you are having a wonderful time with DD

DD- Have everything crossed you get another apt on Monday

Diane O- how did your vacinations go? Hope all went well with tax too

Hello to all who follow. I had best move. Load of washing nearly finished n ready to hang
