You must be tired of seeing me start this every day... Diane S if you're using an iPad or iPhone you can dictate directly into the typing space here. I just dictated the last sentence and the one following this and didn't have to correct them at all. Just press the microphone and speak and it comes out pretty well. With Google Docs, I think you would have to dictate, then copy/paste here.

The music yesterday was so fun. Two different venues, one in the afternoon and one in the evening both outside. I love being in Florida and in Mike's area where there is so much available. Good outdoor entertainment is harder to find in my area than it is here.

Today we will take a walk in a while, I need to run a couple of errands, then we are watching the Tampa game at 3. Florida team and Tom Brady. Guess who we are rooting for?

Have a safe, healthy and iron filled Sunday!

Weight same, 193.8

Operation Iron has been interesting. Supplements seem to be the best answer. But more leafy greens is a good idea regardless.

Operation No Wrinkles at 50 has also been interesting. I used a retinol cream for the first and only time Wednesday and my face is still a dry, peeling mess. I also broke out, but that seems to be calming now. I'm starting with once a week and will go from there. Vanity is hard!

I walked last night and the east coasters will laugh, but it was 48 yesterday so I was heavily bundled up and not sorry! Hat, gloves, puffy jacket. Given the cold, there were only a couple of people out there. Nice to have the trail to myself. More rain and cold coming tonight. It's sunny today, but will only get to the high 50s.

Off to make a green smoothie...

I bundle up at 48 these days too! Is the retinol cream a prescription or over the counter?

Over the counter. Skinsceuticals is the brand. Strong stuff. Sunscreen and moisturizer a must with it. Even still, my face stung for 3 days when I put anything else on it.

Not tired of you starting our thread everyday Liz, in fact, thank you for doing that. I really look forward to whatever observations, conversational tidbits, revelations, people post. I learn so much about so many different topics.

We got about 5 inches of snow yesterday. Today the sun is shining in a cloudless blue sky, and the fresh layer of snow sparkles. I can hear the neighbor kids sledding. It's a rule of nature, kids sledding and swimming must scream. I like hearing them have fun.

I'm mostly done reading the Sunday paper. The most important activity of the day for me. I finished reading Rebecca on Friday, so last night, we watched the Hitch**** version of the movie. Entertaining.

Not sure what the rest of today holds. I packed up all the Christmas stuff in bins, and they wait for DH to carry to the basement. I reorganized them, and tossed some things which feels very satisfying.

Cecily, I think of you planning a move, and I wonder what I would take with me if I were moving, and what I could let go.

I wouldn't laugh at bundling up for 48 degrees, I would probably just stay in the house :) getting out there and walking is the better choice.

Greetings Tribe

Its a rainy gloomy day here. I got out for a bit ti check gallery stuff but nothing else. I was right by the grocery but could not think of anything I need but did not go in. What a blessed feeling - there is nothing that I need.

Liz we love seeing you start the day. Don't ever think otherwise. Love hearing about the sun and such. That pool club looks great.

DD reading Rebecca. I so remember that book. Writing about the blood red rhododendrons at a time I didn't know what they were. Out here there are huge red ones. My pink one in the back yard is blooming now. That was a great book. I didn't know there was a Hitch**** movie but it makes sense.

Cecily good on you for tossing stuff. My hero.

DH got a shiatsu chair massage unit. He is incensed because I laughed at him for it. But he likes it and thinks it helps. I remember those units being demonstrated at the state fair and they looked like fighting cats in a pillow case.

I noticed on FB that BB's MIL passed away. So sad. Tough year already for lots of people.

More chicken barley tonight. Thats all folks!! Diane S
