The first people who made an offer have gone silent. The husband's father died the day after they saw the house and I think it understandably has shifted their focus. A formal offer was pending knowing the cost of the furnishings, but I don't think they've had time or mental energy to review it. Three other parties have seen it and one guy is coming back to see it again. Interestingly, in Covid times if you want to see a house here you have to be prequalified for the sale price before you can see it. I guess they hope it cuts down on unnecessary viewings and strangers in your house?

The though of moving 27 years worth of one house and my 16 years of stuff is daunting for sure. My mom's parents moved all the time when she was little. She went to 14 elementary schools before the 6th grade. So she never wanted to move. My folks were in their first house for 28 years and this one 27... So. Much. Stuff.
