01/01/21 New Year's Day
I do think my sons anger and overreaction to disagreements is tied in with his Dad leaving him and his general loneliness since Covid. He has said that he understands that I need to find myself again and dating is part of that, but he feels safe enough to take his underlying anger out on me. Which makes me uncomfortable. He was okay by mid-day yesterday and we watched a movie together.

All quiet on the home front. Families all returned to their varied homes. A good time was had by all. DH made the dinner (yay) with eggnog and cookies some time after .
There was just enough snow for a snowman. We had ice last night turning into snow early this morning. The coolest part about outside was listening to the ice encased limbs on the trees crackle and tinkle. There was just enough wet to flock the trees with ice, but not enough to bother electric lines or bring down more than small branches.
And now we see how the new year plays out. Hoping to hear a joyful noise each and every day !
