I posted a link on our tremendous tribe page which connects to a concert today at 5:15 pst. Its sung by the Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus and directed by DH's sister who has a phd in choral conducting. Anything she does is fabulous. I have no clue how to connect - that is DH job - but I thought some of you might enjoy this.

Good Morning All

Quick pop in as Im heading out with DH to set up tape fencing in neighbours paddock. Our cows will go over there and eat down his grass which is taller than me!

Lovely dinner with friends last night at their house. Time went so quickly. We have Johns Xmas party this afternoon at a workmates house then I will drive to City house. Another big day

I've baked dozens of cookies today, but not sure why? Nostalgia, tradition? The last few years I've been wishing to get out of hosting the huge Christmas Eve gathering for the in laws. Now I want nothing more than to have them gather here next week. Instead, DH's surviving sister must stay safe while receiving chemo, grown and flown adult nieces and nephews are staying put in their own homes... perhaps next year when I'm all frazzled trying to clean the house, I'll be grateful for the opportunity to be together and worry less about dust.

I am going to make a few cookies probably on Thursday. There just aren't enough people to make more than a couple of dozen at the most.
