Hurrah! Lovely that you didn't have to wait any longer.

So you can breathe a sigh of relief. But wait...are you still feeling unwell? I hope it's a fast passing bug.

Greetings Fabulous People

I have spent today slaving over a hot calculator. Our gallery members pay monthly dues and I have been trying to reconcile the amounts. Its all over the place and our treasurer (who is incapable of admitting error) insists I cannot be correct. I don't really care except I want our tax return to be right. And I also just finished amending our last year's tax return because said treasurer omitted a $2200 deduction...

Cracked dry hands! How terrible BB and everyone. I am sympathetic as my hands are gimped from other stuff but it is indeed horrible when you find yourself hesitating to do things because you know it will make your hands hurt. Magnesium lotion is recommended for my condition and I do find it soothing but I am not sure what it would do for dried out hands. Years ago I used to get an awful face rash when skiing and exposed to over heated buildings. I had a hydrocortisone prescription creme that helped. Maybe gloves are the best option. Also a trip to a tropical environment.

Covid transmission is an ever evolving question. I kind of think its less of a surface transmission and more of an aerosol but what do I know. DH, Mr. Gadget, is convinced its air born and has an air purifier-pendant for both of us as well as a little portable purifier. Plus one more in each bathroom and a big one in the living room. Thats all the purifiers (that I know of).

Liz hope you get well soon. Yep maybe a bit much togetherness - which any quarantine must be -. Stay safe

And yay Ocean Diane for being negative. Plain old colds probably still exist. Hope thats all you two have.

Bonnie150 so sorry about your dad. Yep, an end of life illness can have healing notes and provides its own set of memories. Two plus years of it with my mom who was on hospice, then kicked off, then back on. I remember reading out loud to my mom only to come to a real sexy part only to feel embarrassed to read it. I did anyway.

DH made a big trip to costco today. He said it was very controlled. We are on the border of going into stay at home mode if about 3 more people go into our ICU.

Cecily have fun with the landscapers. Are you doing the witchy woods? Our yard is a wreck but I handle it by positioning my computer chair so I can't see it.

We started Queen's Gambit last night. Love it. Finished all of Fargo and The Crown. DH likes "His Dark Materials" but it too much fantasy and hocus pocus for me. Star Trek Discovery is borderline acceptable. Think about quarantine during the 1918 pandemic and there was no TV!!!!!

DH brought home chicken al fredo from costco. More carbs to shove in my pie hole. Note to self: pandemic does to justify crappy eating. Virus is not killed by chocolate.

They will tidy the witchy woods and lay a bunch of mulch in there. I don't think I'd care either, except I had to get the pots out front removed and while there here, I might as well do everything else with an eye toward moving in the next year. I might as well get to enjoy the labors for a bit!
