Weight 127.6. At least it isn't more since I am not doing anything active to bring it down. I made SF brownies out of a box last night. Really good! Not that I need them, but my sense of taste is coming back along with some cravings. I had bought them a few weeks ago and felt a need for something a little different last night. I had groceries delivered last Wednesday once I found out we had Covid but we have been subsisting on 3 different meals we are eating leftovers from. It is getting boring (along with everything else).
Two more days of quarantine. I absolutely could NOT go many periods without getting outside. At minimum to take walks or even to go to the grocery store. We took another nighttime walk with Justice last night once all the neighborhood was quiet. It felt so good to stretch our legs!
I watched 6 of The Crown First season and I need a bit of a break now. We watched a couple of Virgin River episodes last night and it was a lighter alternative.
Today I think I will start housecleaning with a goal of getting it 1/2 done today and finishing tomorrow. I might as well use the time wisely... it will be interesting to see what Mike does. I have to admit that he is a bit of a slob which I have been having some problems with.
Have a safe, healthy and hopefully Covid-free day!

Hello and Hello! I am returned home at last to DH, DS2, Swanny, pillow, all of it...all of it....( took out from FL at 5:00 am and arrived -non stop driving except for gas and bathroom- 9:00 pm same day; not recommended, but the need was great). I will be in semi-self quarantine at home for a while. No mask inside the house (ventilation is good), but physically distancing from family-(Swann excepted) and lots of surface cleaning after myself in shared spaces, separate bedrooms, hugs from the back,etc....I feel fine, but one never knows, 'do one'?
There is so much more to unpacking this whole 5 weeks' rite of passage than just clothes out of suitcases....for the moment I am letting it all rest and percolate and ripen and or whatever it is is going on.
It is so good to look here and touch base with y'all- have been doing a bit of speed skimming past posts...so much going on for all. Calves born, and EBay book selling mayhem, take care Liz-!, and Ocean Diane, sweetie- hope all is well with you. Following your journey to a healthy relationship with food, Devon, and hope to learn much as you gain insight. Your thoughts, struggles and growth inform and prompt me to do likewise. Long live electric cars,- wear those eggs with pride as a badge of honor. Keep posting pictures of your beautiful babies, Bonnie! Loving the holiday cheer. (You inspire me to maybe get out a decoration or two this year). Diane, Ihope distance teaching is going well and you continue to heal and grow strong. It's hard to get out and about when, well, we are seemingly so stuck at home. Ann- I saw your Bdpicture. You are beautiful!
To all- you are beautiful today- you will be also tomorrow, beautiful, and ....always have been from the beginning. How can it be otherwise (having been birthed out of the creative mind of a loving God!)?
Did I say it is good to be home?

Liz-I'm glad to hear your case has been mild!
It is so hard to keep up with covid because everything keeps changing. And I think this causes distrust by people, even though it's the nature of a "novel" virus. At first we weren't to wear masks. Then it was mandated. But now being with people even masked is not recommended. At first quarantine was 14 days. But maybe now 10? But only if symptomatic but then not? There are quick tests that aren't to be trusted. But can we trust the long tests either? And I just read (not confirmed?) that you can test positive for up to 90 days after a positive although you're not shedding/spreading the virus. Yet some daycares still want a negative test after positive. Or workplaces.
And then the variety of symptoms. I'm a horrible asthmatic and have terrible allergies. This time of year is always a challenge. I haven't felt any different than usual and haven't had any fevers, which is the one symptom I'm hoping would alert me.
Although the virus is just as contagious in larger cities as small, I do think it is much easier to abide by CDC guidelines in a place like OKC vs. Chicago. Just a lot more space. And now with so many people opting to take out food, or shop from home, I feel decently confident in my outings where everyone is masked and spaced.
Yesterday was a big day! I cooked a roast, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin cupcakes to take to my stepson for his birthday (he's staying away from everyone). We had family photos in the afternoon followed by private Santa pictures for the girls. No tears!
