52 in Southwest Florida today with a high of 60 expected today and a low tonight possibly in the high 30's! As I said yesterday, strange days!
I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday - nothing like Shirl's shopping: 1-2 small gifts for each of my 3 adult children and my 2 SIL's. The kid's main gift is a check these days. Seems cold, but it is what most of the folks my age seem to do.
The Christmas stocking for my great nephew is in the last stages. It should be done by the end of the week. I will post a picture when it is finished.
Today would be a good day for a walk, but also a good day for housecleaning. Maybe I should do part of the cleaning today and finish tomorrow?
Be safe and healthy!

Weight the same. Back to normal eating.
Oh the horror. Woke up to find Ferg had had a MAJOR "blowout" on the first floor. Thankfully, all on the stone floor and not the rugs. Not a nice way to start the day, I can tell you. I'm still shuddering. Bless him. I think he was embarrassed. I know they don't like soiling their dens. I don't like it either! I think I'll pick him up some pumpkin. I did add some FortiFlora to his breakfast.
Today I need to pick up my car from the dealership and I have coffee with a friend scheduled. When he gave me the estimate for the maintenance due on my car (oil change, 2 new filters, spark plugs), I said "ouch" because I forget in between annual services how expensive BMWs are to take care of. The service guy was apologetic and I said it was fine, just a surprise each year. When he called today to tell me it was ready he said he was able to make some adjustments and it knocked the cost down $300. A much nicer surprise! Interesting if there is that much play in what they charge for things? And if I hadn't said ouch would it have been the higher price?
Anyway, off to shower. Hope you all have lovely days!
Yeah, BMW maintenance is not cheap! Sorry about Ferg. I agree that they hate it when they mess their homes.

That is chilly for Florida. And the damp really can make a 50 degree day cold if the wind is blowing. We like to joke about Minnesota's winter: At least it's a dry cold. It's weird how we're semi arid in the winter, but the humidity in the summer is considered sub tropical. It's all part of the charm.
Nice that your dealership fixed you up with a discount Cecily. But yeah, you probably wouldn't have gotten it if you hadn't protested, mild though it was.
Taking a lunch break. I'm sending so many emails everyday, the pads of my fingers are getting sore.
Sunday I started my transition back to my eating program, and today and yesterday, I feel very in control. My cancer boob still hurts, and I have to wear some sort of bra 24/7. You don't think it's possible do you, that it's holding 3-7 pounds of water? No? Guess I'd better stick with healthy eating then.
Good Morning All - well nearly afternoon but only managing to pop in now. Been working since early again and had a medical apt. DH is down from the farm for dental and medical apt -so busy health day
I have some errands to run after work and will have dinner with DH before he drives back up. Hes brought the puppies home so thats nice. I also want to try and do some potting up of seedlings I have grown. DH is installing a sprinkler system that will be hooked up to a timer and water our veggie patch while we are away. Will be great and take a lot of stress out of getting them thru summer
Getting organised for Christmas. We are sharing a meal at my DSS house - the whole family can make it which is lovely. Will be nice to sit outside and catch up - Looking like they are travelling far and wide to see other family Christmas Day and Boxing Day but most will end up at the farm at some stage after the festivities
Well I had best keep working - hope you all have a wonderful day
