No weight, but I certainly did nothing to bring it down yesterday. Later this morning we are driving to Fort Lauderdale and will be sitting by a pool by about 2 pm. It should be an enjoyable turkey day tomorrow but I am getting afraid that travel might be stopped for Christmas time and I may not get home?
Stay safe and healthy!

Do you think that's a possibility? It hasn't so far, people have either had to bring test results or quarantine, or a combination to travel to some states. Is Massachusetts still requiring this? Are you hearing rumors about airports closing? In the end, maybe we should lock downtime they do in other countries, and stop interstate travel, but I just don't see it happening here.
I am just worrying with no basis. But I will need to be tested to go back to Massachusetts. I will probably do it within 72 before leaving Florida, then again a few days after returning just to feel more safe (for others such as SIL).

Good Morning All
Back at my happy place, been up since early, checked the mummas n babies, we have just taken the hide of Tassie and Mikaela hasnt reacted so looking good for a very good outcome. Confirmation that I have named Minx well - she is hilarious as she puts her tail up in the air and runs around with Priscilla hot on her tail. She is full of mischief - which I love. Especially when I think back to last week when I was force feeding a very weak calf. This is indeed the good part of farming. B8 will be next to calve within the next few days then only C1 and Mikaela Mark 2. Hoping for trouble free births. We will likely let Mikaela and Tassie Burger out of the stock yards on Saturday once we are sure there will be no issues.
Today I have a wonderful treat - a 2 hour spa in Beechworth. My 50th birthday gift from the family. Salt scrub, mud wrap and massage for 2 glorious hours. I am finishing work at 1pm and cant wait. Its just what I need as a pick me up.
Liz - thats worrying...... I hope you can get home. We now have zero active cases in the whole of Victoria. All the borders are opening up and we only have to wear masks inside - mask free outside which is a blessing given the summers here ! The hard lockdown was truely dreadful but it has done what it needed too and we are experiencing welcome freedom and re-joining with loved ones. I have 18 for breakfast in the shed at 8am Saturday morning :)
Well I best keep working - I am sitting in the shed looking out over the paddocks watching the babies play. Its just lovely
Take care all and stay safe

It will be bacon and eggs on the BBQ - Toast, rolls, Baked Beans, Juice, Coffee and Tea then a fruit platter - simple :)
The 18 is all family :) We have my stepdaughter, her partner and my stepson, his partner and grandbabies coming up for the weekend. Full house/shed is a happy one. Ashton asked me to wait till he gets here to check the moowies :) He loves it up here
We have new, fancy internet, so it's a lot easier for me to work at home. Even so, I did get a lag yesterday during one of my classes. I hope it's an anomaly, because I just want to work from home if there are no students in the building. But to do that, I need very reliable internet access.
Today was an in service day. I did some classes in the morning, but now I am having trouble making myself work. Checked out I guess, and tired.
I thought we were going to decorate before Thanksgiving this year, but here we are, Thanksgiving tomorrow, and I have a few things up. There is always black Friday.
I don't really want to cook tomorrow! I've been spoiled after all these years going to my Uncle's house. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, because all I do is make a side dish, put on a pretty outfit, and then eat and visit with my aunt's, uncles and cousins. In 33 years of marriage, I've hosted one Thanksgiving. My hosting duty is Christmas Eve, which is with my husband's side of the family. It's exhausting, but also so much fun. I guess I can buck up and make my immediate family a meal for Thanksgiving, since I'm probably freed from Christmas hosting duty. Blending all the families, now that the nieces and nephews are grown and have their own households, wouldn't be very responsible.
So, it's 1pm, I've been up since 7am, but I'm still in my jammies. Perhaps I should get dressed, and on with the rest of the day.
Greetings All
Still not much news here. Our studio director did test positive. I have not been in her presence enough to be considered "exposed" according to health department so thats good. We are pretty careful about masks and such and I would only go into the office to sign a few checks. She was sick but not enough to need medical help and is now doing better.
Meanwhile, our county is shooting up cases and they are nearly all in the 20-40 age group. Shirley, your nation was so smart to shut down and nip this. Ain't gonna happen here because people are just too stupid and selfish.
Yay Peps, big wins at the dog show and it sounds like you handled it safely. Good for you. How nice to have the Goat up and working. Lucky is gorgeous.
Who knows what is going to happen in travel. We have no reason to go anywhere.
Well I have had some deep thoughtts about weight but seem to have forgotten them. Maybe later.
We were supposed to go to friends to morrow but I canceled due to the slight chance of my exposure. If I was exposed it was at least 10 days ago. I may get a test.
So I made my famous chicken liver pate today. I will send it over to the friends house (ie ring the doorbell and run) as two of them love the stuff. And some for me too!
Thats about it. Time to try on my on line ordered sweat shirts and take a nap.

I wrote a rambly post and then forgot to press send.
Weight was up just a tick. I don't want to know what it will be on Friday.
I had a nice coffee with a friend this morning while evacuated for the cleaning people. It will be nice to return to a clean house. I'm at my dad's for Thanksgiving, just the three of us and the two dogs. As I type, Ferg is snoring. The turkey is seasoned and waiting in the fridge. The pie is made and the cranberries. Should be easy tomorrow.
Enjoy however you're celebrating! Take care...
