Congratulations, Devon! I thought you looked great in your picture with Lucky! But I hear you on the non-appearance related bummers of weight gain. My feet and mid-back (not my back going out of late, but "holding myself up" pain) feel it most acutely, feet being my most front and center, "oh boy I need to do something about this" signal.

Congratulations on the show. It sounds like a lot of work so I am not surprised you are exhausted.

I bet most schools will stay remote now until enough vaccinations are done to lower the spread of Covid dramatically. Now that it is on the horizon, that just seems to make sense.

I share in all the struggles today: knowing my Weight is high, but not expecting to turn it around with the eating holiday approaching, needing to make appointments about important stuff, but putting it off, finding that socializing, even when covid appropriate is difficult. I feel like my social stamina is weaker. Let alone my physical stamina.

Distance learning is going okay, but I made a stupid mistake today, I shared the wrong document with a parent on Google. A confidential document. Argh! Luckily I realized my mistake immediately, and changed the share setting back to private, so there wouldn't have been enough time for the parent to open the email and click on the link. I've checked the privacy settings about a million times since. Trigger obsessive ruminating.

I'm going to get my hair cut in the part of Minnesota, away from the metro, where people don't believe in Covid. My niece had a private room (but no door), for her chair, so hopefully the unmasked ones breath won't make it to us. I take some solace that new research says our own masks do offer us some protection. I'll wear one of Diane Ocean's with the felt filter to up the protection factor.

Well, back to my virtual classroom in a few minutes. Nice to see everyone.

I got mine cut and colored yesterday. I was panicking to my hair gal that I thought my hair was really thinning at my part in front. She looked and said, no, it's just so white you can't see it. Ah, white haired and myopic at 48.

"Eating Holiday" approaching and we all have angst about our weight. Thank goodness we have each other to admit our thoughts about it all.

Liz the airboat pictures look awesome, it must have been warm to bring out all those gators. Was it loud on the airboat? When I hear them go by, they seem so loud, but someone told me the noise trails behind you and it's not as loud on the boat. What did you think?

Yes, it is somewhat loud but everyone wears pretty heavy duty headsets like on a helicopter so it muffles it. Yesterday was about 80 and super low humidity. The guy driving the airboat (who I think is an owner) said the gators come out the most when the water is cool but the sun is warm to get their internal temperatures up. It was really cool how the boat skims the water and water plants but can actually go over land too.
