Weight 129.6. Up way too late with midnight snacking after picking up DD at the airport. She flew from Logan in Boston to here and contrary to what the press seemed to be reporting she said Logan was more quiet than she has ever seen it and Fort Myers was empty. Interesting after listening to the news at length yesterday when they seemed to be implying that the airports were full. DD's plane was also only 1/2 full and she had the row all to herself.

Today we are driving from my place to Mikes for the next couple of nights, then to his sons for Thanksgiving. Mike has activities planned for the week but today is just a transit day, then maybe sitting by the pool in his neighborhood. I could use a quiet day.

In other news, the pattern on my grand nephews stocking is complete - so now I just have to do the foot. Easy stuff after having to follow the graph so closely. It should be done by the end of the week so I can send it north.

ETA: We had lunch with a couple in Venice yesterday who I met through the RNY menu thread (the husband). Super nice couple and always great to meet someone you connect to online.

Have a safe and healthy day!

Weight the same. A no loss week, waaaaah! My first one!

On a better note, I did get a big succulent arrangement that had seen better days several years ago out of my backyard and into the trash. The giant pot had broken, the roots had grown into the ground, it was both overgrown and scraggly, and I was ignoring it because it was mostly Sticks on Fire which has really irritating sap. But I managed to dig it all out and get it out of there.

Today I have a hair appt. and not much else other than phone calls to make.

DianeO, I hope you're having a better day today! I would send you some sun, but we don't seem to have any today...

Lunch break!! I've been doing a pretty good job of tracking and staying in my points range the last two weeks. I am not losing. Perhaps I cannot also eat the bonus points. Sigh. And no exercise to speak of, just the activities of daily life.

Ocean Diane, waving at you.

Liz I hope you all have fun at Mike's house. Pool time, it all sounds good. Is the pool open again at your house?

One of my co workers just posted a picture from Clearwater, Florida. He's apparently teaching from there with district approval. Good to know. I m not sure this is all going to go down well though, since special ed is being told we will probably be seeing students in person. How is the district going to have one set of expectations for one group of teachers and not the other? If we are still in Distance Learning in January, I would like to go to my parent's house in Winter Haven and teach from there. Seems like it might be harder for the district to tell me no, if it's been approved for others...we'll see.

LOTs of people here are working remotely. The warmth and sun here is wonderful and if one chooses to stay very quarantined you can and still have the sun.
