In true Friday the 13th form, I've been up since 12:15 AM up drinking coffee and doing laundry when Ceci, Diane S and Peps were probably just going to bed. Suffice it to say DC had a major lower GI issue that took out ALL layers of bedding. Perhaps an afternoon nap.

Socially moderate, fiscally logical has a nice ring to it ! Using beliefs as a starting point does illuminate areas of similarity and difference with other thinkers, and helps identify the potential for compromise/conciliation when needed. Nice work Peps and Ceci ! BB and DD, we are eager to hear an ALL CLEAR from you. One of my former teachers, who now resides in the Outer Banks and is essentially a winter hermit, tested positive after seeing the Dr. for what she thought was a sinus infection. Diane S., missing you !

Too scared to weigh. Cake and chicken fried steak and all. Actually, pretty happy with myself over all. I had half a piece of cfs and very little of the sides. Sm piece of cake, and angel food is fat free after all! (HA! Anyone remember that trend. I would eat so many twizzlers because they were "fat free.")

Diane O.-ooooh nooooo!! So sorry to hear about DC.

So much to chew on yesterday.

Unfat. Is unfat a physical measurement or mental. For me, I've never been unfat mentally.

Interesting talk about politics. I'd be willing to bet that most of us have a lot in common.

Liz-Will this be the 2nd anniversary of Paul's death? Good of you to be with the kids.

Hopefully today we all get good news!! Thankfully I'm still feeling good. Hard to tell, though, as I always suffer seasonal allergies and asthma. I really don't want to hold my poor babies for a test :(

Good luck on test results! I do remember having lots of desserts with angel food on WW. I would sometimes fill up my points with that sort of stuff (not too healthy).

It will be the first anniversary of Paul's death though it feels like years since he left us which he did in so many ways other than physically.

For me UNFAT is both mental and physical. As I mentioned, I'm still working on a definition for myself. The main reason for UNFAT is that it is one phrase/word for which I have no preconceived mental image. Words like "thin", "fit", "trim", "lean", "athletic", etc... all come with strong mental images, which I will never, ever achieve. I could go on and on about this, but.... you know how it is, blah, blah, blah.....

Diane, you did not have a great start to Friday the 13th! My youngest DD was born on Friday the 13th (in May), so we always thought of it as a lucky day.

Weight 128.8 (down .2). I feel like it may be a bit elevated due to bathroom issues, but that isn't an excuse. I was more on plan yesterday though thank goodness. We are going out to eat tonight and tomorrow so that's a challenge.

The weather here in Florida finally feels like the usual warm but not too humid weather. It may not last but hopefully today will be nice at the beach. We did go late yesterday afternoon and it was pleasant but a bit hot and still not safe going into the turbulen****er. But there were at least a dozen surfers out which was fun to watch. We don't have that on the West coast.

Have a safe and healthy day!

Weight down a pound. I was at this weight on Dec 21 last year, which was before I lost a good bit on WW in January and February. But it's good to be in very early Covid territory and good to be headed in the right direction.

Diane, middle of the night emergency laundry is the worst of the laundry categories and laundry itself is not a nice category.

BB, that cake looked delish. I'm not much of an angel food person (I'm not crazy about the squeaky texture), but you had me at the frosting!

Liz, enjoy the beach!

My bff's FIL has been hospitalized with pneumonia from Covid. He's in that day 7-10 window. I'm hoping with all they've learned about treating Covid that he gets treated and out of there. So of the four 75-80 year olds I know who've had it, that makes half who've been hospitalized. Not great odds there!

Today's dart board moving location mental game has me thinking about eastern TN and Western NC. Does anyone have experiences with either?

Off to medicate Ferg and then I have my brain therapist.

Hope everyone has a good Friday (and Saturday for Shirl)!

Friday, I love you so much even though I have nothing planned for the weekend. Dear bed, we've been spending too much time apart. I'm going to spend some quality time with you tonight and, even better, tomorrow morning.

I brought home not even one thin sheet of paper from work. This weekend will be workfree and relaxation full. I need a break from the turmoil bubbling up as we get ready to shift to distance learning.

First relaxation, a nap!
