Weight 128.4. Partly food but as much bathroom backup.
We did nothing but sit around yesterday as tropical storm ETA was out and about. This morning it is super windy but not raining right now at least and I can actually see a tiny peak of blue sky. I think it will rain again later, but hopefully there will be enough break to get a walk in. I think ETA is causing more rain and wind at my place on the west coast than it is here on the east coast. It is supposed to affect the weather most of the week keeping it very unsettled but I hope there is some ability to get out.
Not much else going on except that the Christmas stocking is moving along. The name band is done as are Rudolph's ears and the top of his head. Next come the eyes. Doing this part of the knitting requires a fair amount of concentration and my hands have gotten a bit sore so I have to stop after a while, but it will be done in plenty of time for Christmas.
Have a safe, healthy, and masked/distanced day (I think these may be the most important actions as it all gets relaxed at gatherings).

Merry Monday to one and all. I am hoping for a far less stressful week all around. I wasn't terribly stressed on a personal level, but I did feel a lot of stress from others about the election and I think that stress permeated a lot of areas.
Liz, I'm curious the distance between your place and Mike's. You mentioned he is on the east coast of FL and you are on the west coast. What is the travel time between the two homes?
I am still trying to make sense out of the discrepancy between my actions and believed/supposed desires. It is something of a torturous process. Torturous in the sense that it is a challenge to accept that I may have been lying to myself for decades. But, hey.... what's the saying... "The truth hurts."? However, I think I can try to counter with, "The truth shall set you free!" LOL!
Pretty much same old, same old. Same **** different day. It's not a bad thing. It's just how it is. Routine. I do well with routine. Yet, sometimes the redundancy feels blah..... C'est la vie.
Good Morning All, Waking up to another hot day but Im ok with that. We are expecting rain late tommorrow. Finished planting the grass seed so I will be watering twice a day from now on till it sprouts. Been up early watering the deck gardens as I fed them late last night and pulling down the tape fence that kept the dogs out of the newly grasses area. It can go as they are not here.
Today is work then Im going over to DSS for the evening. My DSD cant come as shes working late which is a bummer. I went to Costco and grabbed pizzas after my apt last night so very easy dinner. I plan on spending as much time as I can helping over there.
Im proud to report we now have 89 active cases in the whole of Australia. Its been hard, very hard but our restrictions, closing of borders etc etc has worked. Our state borders are yet to open but I believe most will lift them this month. Thinking of you all over there xx Stay safe

We learned what proposed distance learning model will be presented to the school board tomorrow. Many questions about how to implement it. We still don't know when we will transition to distance learning, but maybe next week? Or whether the school board will approve it. Every day seems to be filled with uncertainty. I guess I just keep getting up and going to work.
