Good Morning All

Back at the city house alone (not even the puppies or the chooks!) It feels weird but I enjoyed it last night once I had unpacked and done a heap of work outside - mowing, watering and planting.

Busy weekend at the farm. DH is now living up there for the next 6 weeks or so. 2 of our cows are looking like they will calve within the next week or so. DSS and his family is coming to stay Thursday till Sunday as they relaxed the restrictions at at midnight last night. Victoria is no longer divided as a state and we are not restricted to 25 km. YAY !!!!! 9 straight days of zero cases - we have earned it. My DSD and partner may come to stay at the farm the following weekend. We have the Steer going to the butcher tommorrow morning - so Sat 21st Nov will be spent vacumn sealing meat and labelling as he goes into the freezer. We are very blessed to be able to grow our own meat and share it amongst our family.

I have work today then an ultrasound. Will pick up some grass seed on the way home - as I was seeding the other side of the lawn last night and ran out. Its going to be 86 today so I will enjoy having the warmth.

I weighed this morning and was pleased to see a drop - 179.52 - goal is around 170-173 so I have some work to do.....

I am glad you all finally have a result - the waiting and watching was stressful. Im not political at all but I pray that everyone unites in peace and calm to work together. I have been watching and hoping there wasnt any unrest. This year has been so incrediably hard on everyone. I look forward to putting it behind us all

I had best get myself organised. Have a wonderful evening

9 straight days of zero cases?! Incredible work Aussies!!! Today, just today, my state had 6,000 New cases! The Health Department is pleading with people to stop gathering in groups. Transmission is not being traced to restaurants etc, but to weddings, funerals, and gatherings in hone.

Places where transmission is low or non existent? Schools. We're running a great test trial, social distancing, sanitizing, and adhering to mask wearing. It works!!

Thanks DD x Yes its a huge achievement - Thats the whole state of Victoria so big area

We still have to wear masks and there are still strict restrictions on a lot of things but they are slowly easing

Our figures show the highest risk for spread is in the home - as people let their guards down. Hence the harder line. Outdoors is opening up and we are heading for summer so it will be easier to socialise in the outdoors

Feeling like we are shaking off the cloud thats been suffocating us during a very harsh lockdown. Im going to my stepsons tommorrow night like we used too. My stepdaughter n her partner are also coming :) Unfortunately DH is up at the farm so will miss out. But we might video call so he doesnt feel too left out.

Sunday, Funday! NOT! LOL! I'm always working...

Grooming this morning, now off to help my pop with some car maintenance. Funny how over the past 2 years my role and my brother's role as caretakers has really increased. My dad is relying on my brother to help him with the financial and business side of life and I help with the day to day stuff and anything mechanical.

And, I'm back.... All Pop needed was his tires filled. Easy Peasy. He just isn't physically spry enough to manage the up and down needed to make that a quick and easy job. I'm happy to help! Especially considering the hours he spent with me in the Park Ranger lot teaching me to drive a stick shift!

I am a month away from my 9 year surgiversary. With that come a lot of "feels" considering I am 10 pounds heavier than when I went for my initial consult. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the relationship (or non relationship) between my behaviors and intentions. Well, at least I know I am far more fit at this weight than I was nine years ago. Of that I am proud.

There is an old saying about May. It's either in like a lamb and out like a lion or in like a lion and out like a lamb. Well, the 2020s came in like a lion. I think we have a lot more roaring ahead of us in so many ways, but I am hoping that we are embarking on a decade of positive conversation that leads to greater maturity in the understanding of ourselves and others. It would be nice to see this decade end like a lamb.
