Good Morning All

Another hectic day but last day of the working week. DH moves to the farm tonight for 6 weeks. I am taking my car and going for the weekend

Crappy nights sleep...... Took my Bella to the vet to have a lump checked out. She had a cancerous lump removed in Jan 19 and now has another one. They want to operate with a big margin again. Its in her front armpit so a tricky spot. She turns 11 next month and I am battling with putting her under the knife again. She comes out of the GA really badly - last time I had her kept on fluids longer and picked her up at the very end of the day. Shes happy and not in pain that I can see. If I get it cut out and she heals will she have another one in 18 or so mths - do I keep having her carved up? If I dont will this go wild and leave her in pain...... She had a very hard start in life. Her litter was left to die in a chicken coop on a farm. She was desexed at 6 weeks and I adopted/rescued her at 7 weeks. She has deformity in her back end which is starting to get arthritic. We already have to lance in between her paw pads on average once a month as she has an issue with ingrown hairs that bed into there and fester. I initally had it done at the vets but she didnt come out of the sedation well and hated having her paw bandaged. Its over much quicker if we lance it and clean it out. She doesnt even yelp - its a relief for her. Really battling with the decision - hence not much sleep

Had a nice night with youngest Ds and his Girlfriend. Cooked them steak on the BBQ loving the warmer weather. We are on our 6th day of zero new cases and Im looking forward to Sundays announcement in relation to restrictions. I think it will be a drop in the 25km restriction and also the segregation of Metro and Regional Victoria which will make coming and going to the farm a whole lot easier. Fingers crossed

Watching the election from over here and thinking of you all. I find it just plain exhausting...... Stay safe everyone

I had best get my butt into gear - have a lot to achieve today

Had to get on here to post my weight. Before it goes up lol

153.6

Apparently the election has been a literal weight on my shoulder and is gone now--at least for a moment.

I don't know what to think about these legal battles. At some point, someone will have won. And I still think it's Mr. Biden. However, I guess if these legal challenges will improve faith in the process, then they are certainly free to use every legal avenue at their disposal. I wish these elections weren't so close. It would be much easier for both sides to accept that way.

I tried to escape the coverage today. But Fox News was playing in the nail salon. Even the UPS store was blaring the coverage. Good that Americans are engaged and care. That's my pollyanna statement for the day.

We are preparing to move to distance learning. They haven't set a date, but we are voting on possible models of synchronous teaching. There is much heated discussion.

Nothing is normal. I can't process much more, I find myself sighing more and more, and just thinking, whatever.

I think I need to pull up a chair on that beach where Liz is today. :)

Hi all

Still riding the election roller coaster. Yikes. On facebook: a little kid says to his mom "Mommie when are you going to stop watching that map show" LOL

Yep Cecily, dump that hair dresser. What a fool. You are beautifully tall and elegant and I envy your height. I quit my last hairdresser because she tried to sell me pampered chef stuff all the time and her charm bracelet**** me in the face!

Well Liz, sooner or later you and Mike will have a money talk. My DH and I did since at the time I made a lot more money. WE keep our money separate and it actually works well. A friend of mine married a guy (second marriage for both) and they did not discuss money and complete differences about it resulted in divorce. I guess for now if he wants to do something you thing is too expensive just say so. Love the pictures.

And BTW I have met Devon and he is good looking and adorable. So there.

Shirley wishing your pup the best. Sick dogs are sick family.

Well, time to go watch the "MaP SHOW"

bye diane

DH and I kept our money separate for all 38.5 years of our marriage and it worked great for us. But we still had to figure out who paid for what. Same here if Mike and I stay together.
