Tuesday Election Day, 2020
Weight 126.2, up .4 from yesterday, 3.2 over desired range. No surprise after a bunch of days of loss followed by a steak dinner and extra midnight snacks...
VOTE! This year more than any other it is so important!
Mike and I are going to my favorite beach in Boca Grande today. Taco Tuesday at the local Mexican place, then election results on TV. No matter what happens, it will be an historic day.
Have a safe, healthy and vote counted day!

Liz, was Elmo glad to see you ? Are you letting Mike drive him ? I agree with the safe, healthy and vote counted day ! I never thought of there being many good ole boy rednecks around here, but I have never seen so many pick up trucks with Trump flags in this region, ever. They make ME feel intimidated. Here's to moving forward as a nation, focusing on civility and compromise no matter the outcome.

The same here in Florida. Quite a contrast from Massachusetts.
We haven't had time to take Elmo out yet - I would let Mike drive it but I don't think he would be interested as he is a golfer so it doesn't hold much allure, LOL.

I'm at home on a break from virtual workshops. What I have learned is that I am so old, and have not considered having students creating a tik tok like video on z platform called flip grid. Distance learning, it's going to take a lot for me to create interesting content.
DH voted this morning, he said the line wasn't too long, mission accomplished.
Beautiful sunny day here.
Weather here is gorgeous. :) This morning I've been visiting on phone, FB, text with friends and family (sisters). Everybody seems to want to reach out and touch and be touched to relieve their anxiety. I get it!
This afternoon I pick up curbside groceries, then come home to pack for an overnight pajama party / election watch at a friend's house. Neither of us wanted to be alone for the big night. A third friend will join us, but she won't spend the night.
I generally enjoy politics (up to a point) and have always followed Election Night results like it was the Superbowl. As a young kid I looked forward every four years to 3 days (was it 3 days?) of national political conventions in the summertime. I watched those old white guys do their thing and thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I was equally infatuated with both parties. Loved everything from the fistfights to the balloons.
Regardless of who wins the election, here's hoping we actually find out tonight who our 2021-2024 President and Senators will be. Hey, it could actually happen. :)
Love to all,
Ann

Nice to see your post Ann! Enjoy the coverage. I hope the results are clear at minimum but I have never been so nervous about an election. My mother used to love politics and would have stayed up most of the night tonight. Though I am kind of glad she wasn't here this last few years because I know she has been "rolling over" in her grave over a lot of things.

Good Morning All
Hump Day here so only 3 days of work - bonus....... Have some major work stuff going on but cant talk about it yet. Weighing heavily .....
Thinking of you all over there. I hope the results come in without unrest. Nervous for you all. Stay safe
As I mentioned we had a busy long weekend. After taking Monday off as Annual Leave we had a longer list that usual. Achieved everything and the back deck is looking so much better. Today is dentist visits for both of us and DSS is coming for afternoon tea. I will pop on some scones. They are leaving at 5pm so they can get the boys home and in bed. Will be wonderful to see them.
