Greetings Friends
Another lovely day here which I almost feel guilty about because so many others are in danger with fire, storms, covid and such. I am getting pretty used to the covid routine now and take masks, sanitize them, don't go to restaurants and watch too much tv. Such is life.
Cecily please be safe and keep us posted.
BB pumpkin patch! How fun!. We didn't have those when I was little. Now my neighbors down the street have them in their front yard! I got a little one as a table decoration but won't carve it. And your dinner party sounds wonderful - great menu. I bet those 3 lbs are "phantom" and will go bye bye.
Studio today. Kiln opens. Otherwise, continue to shovel out the living room for when we have guests Saturday. I doubt the big air purifiers will arrive but we have a bunch of little ones thanks to DH shopping.
Well thanksgiving is looming for all. I am sort of relieved I no longer have to do all the mandatory family stuff since we have none in the area and I have only the one brother. We have SIL and nephews and such in so cal but travel is unthinkable. Yeah I know they make airplane air super clean but what about all the waiting in line and security and such. It occurs to me I may never see my remaining brother again and that makes me sad. No way could he travel here and I sure don't want to fly down there.
Snow already in the upper midwest!!!??? I do miss the cozy feeling of snow on a saturday and looking out at it knowing I don't have to go anywhere. But I also remember my car dying on a busy street after dark when it was below zero and walking to a gas station. Not fun.
WE are subsisting on prepared foods like a costco lasagne that lasts a week. I just can't deal with cooking. Any body tried those delivered boxes of meals that are healthy and need little work?
Welcome back from the rabbit hole Diane M. Those holes are all around these days. There is a Halloween candy rabbit hole right now on my kitchen counter...

Good luck Cecily! You and Ferg stay safe!

Good Morning All
Quick check in again - worried for Cec & Ferg. Be Safe xxx
I crashed last night, happens every now and again. I got to 8.30pm and couldnt keep my eyes open so I simply didnt and curled up in bed. Feel a whole lot better this morning. Exciting day today - DH and I are meeting DSS, his partner and our grandbabies in a park for a picnic tea. Ive cooked up a storm. Will make Vanilla slice and Green Salad today then we are all set :)
Not a lot else to report. I weighed this morning and didnt like what it said 180.4 but will work on that when I can get my head around it - which isnt today
Well I had best go pin out the washing and continue working :) Roll on 5pm and Grandbaby cuddles. I will kiss them and hug them and kiss them again.
Stay safe everyone

I go to work and Holy Hannah, all heck breaks out! The very first signs of discord with Mike (I'm betting it will smooth out, but also, if it doesn't Liz will make the right decision for her) Ocean Diane s daughter's have to have a refugee like border meeting to see each other (but such a beautiful story), -Diane S has no choice but to eat lasagna day after day, the scale was discourteous to Bonnie this morning, Shirl went to bed early(!), and now Cecily and Ferg are on the run from a real natural disaster. Waiting to hear they are safe. The story of the Silverado fire is on our news right now!
