Reporting in from Dewey Beach DE (next to Rehoboth). Rehoboth had a decent beach and nice boardwalk but was very commercial (lots of arcades and t-shirt places). Dewey Beach is the dog friendly area where the beach and essentially all hotels allow dogs. The #1 restaurant looks like a dive bar but has good food. The beach is gorgeous though and lined with pretty homes and the dogs can run free. It would be a good place to rent a house on one of the side streets leading up to the beach but there isn't much else going on.

We will walk the beach again with Justice then drive to Virginia Beach for 2 days though unfortunately tomorrow is predicted to be very rainy.

A big shout-out to ALL teachers! They are on the front-line too not only from a health standpoint but also from the need to develop many new skills to reach their students however they can.

It's going to be 95 today. Yuck. Thankfully it's cooling off at night. The cleaning people will be here at 11. Yay! I need to get the cars washed today. It's so dusty here, they're filthy.

Not much else going on. A boring day, I think!

Just arrived in Door County, it's 43 degrees, feels like 28 in the wind. We're having dinner at 6pm on a patio that has a heater for each table. Wish we could meet you half way on the heat!

Good Morning All - TGIF and the end of the working week

Hoping for a quieter day at work today then will pop over to mums and change her bed linen. We are not going to the farm this weekend so hopefully will be able to get the new veggie bed filled with soil and ready for new plants. And maybe build the last beds - its supposed to rain lots so we will see what happens.

Had to get an emergency locksmith out yesterday - Shed keys got misplaced - and we hadnt been able to get a second set cut due to COVID. Expensive oops but we now have it all fixed and 3 sets of keys so it wont happen again

Cec - You are doing great with dropping those pounds - send me motivation please. Good luck with the cars. Thats on my list for tommorrow as my Mini is getting serviced on Sunday

Hello to all that follow - I had best get my day started. DH is making scrambled eggs on toast for brekkie. Yum ! Our chooks are giving us 8 eggs a day so we are giving away eggs left right and centre to loved ones

Ohh, the thought of those free range eggs, delicious. My cousin has a few laying hens, and I love breakfast at his house when I visit.

I would gladly share DD if I lived closer :) Nothing better than free range eggs
