Weight 125.2. Two days to Florida departure. No weighing while we are on the trip. I hope I don't add too much damage over that time period.
Mike met my other SIL yesterday when we went to dinner at a great place halfway in between us. I won't see him until he picks me up on Monday.
The party for SIL who turned 70 this week is at my house today. I didn't talk to DS about Mike coming, but asked DSD. She suggested I not talk to DS or he likely will have his back up for the next couple of days until I leave. He apparently has been very vocal to her about needing a year after his Dad died (January 3). So I will respect that. In the meantime this place has to be straightened up for the party today. Tomorrow I have to put away all my winter furniture. I am making a couple of "to do" lists. Luckily my packing is done.
In the midst of my partying and joy, I talked to an Alzheimer's support group friend yesterday. Her husband was expected to pass in the next couple of days. It was fast at the end like DH which is a blessing. As we discussed, their minds have already left their bodies so they are ready to go, hopefully as peacefully as possible. At least she will be able to do a church service and a small gathering. The people in my bereavement group who lost their people in the spring were unable to do either and it made their grief much deeper as there was no good goodbye/closure.
Have a safe, healthy and social day.

Checking in with DSD was a good idea. Better to leave for Florida with as good of energy between you and DS as possible.
Things are going nicely on this bright sunny day, happy wedding day for my nephew. Very excited to see family, I can see how even with the best of intentions, these type of events spread Covid. We will try really hard to behave.
It's nice having my son and his girlfriend here, they're out doing a little drive around town, such as there is to see.
I hope the wedding was wonderful and had enough social distancing!

Weight stable.
This morning I went to a gallery opening for my friend who is an artist. She has a show for the next 2 months at a local gallery. Normally they get a big evening to-do with champagne and appetizers, but Covid prevented that. So my knitting group all went and several of them bought things. I think she was really touched. I already have a few of her things. If I wasn't in purge mode I would have bought something too.
Then I made a quick grocery trip. Going down the frozen aisle, I caught a glimpse of my profile in the glass and wasn't horrified. Progress is being made!
I need to work on filling my trash barrel for Monday this weekend. I think more bathroom decluttering is up next.
I got my ballot and need to fill that out too.
I am so impressed with your decluttering. I wish I had gotten a bit more done. BTW, one of my previous WW leaders used to say that when she needed to lose weight she started by decluttering her space - it helped put her in the right mindset.
