The 1st anniversary is difficult. It doesn't seem that long since you lost her yet everything in the world has changed so much.

Today was work from home day while they deep clean the school. I took big advantage, got started at 7:15 am, and didn't stop until almost 7pm, with one longish lunch break. I am so close to finishing out the crazy paperwork project, but I got too tired to continue, and was worried I might start making mistakes. I was in contact with so many students and parents, I sent over 40 emails the first part of the day. Feels good to be establishing contact after being missing in action the first two weeks.

My daughter is in a community choir in Boston. They are trying to practice online. I can't hear anyone else or even their accompaniment, but I can hear her, and it's pretty sweet. Those voice lessons were worth the money.

Getting close to my nephews wedding. My son and his girlfriend arrive on Friday evening. Increasing our risks of Covid, but I judge the risk very worthwhile.

Eased back into WW. Dinner tonight, salmon, roasted broccoli, mashed butternut squash with a hint of brown sugar. Delicious, satisfying, and pretty low points. I can do this, right?
