124.6! Arghhh... Way too many almonds, etc. yesterday. I don't see it getting better through this week as we are out a lot and I am a bit depressed as it is deceased DD's birthday Saturday. Always a tough week for me and I somewhat resort to old habits acquired long ago to make me feel better. But at least I am keeping active and seeing Mike helps my spirits.
Nothing much else going on. Today is laundry, another attempt to get a high-dose flu shot, my bi-weekly zoom with my Florida friends, lunch with Mike and dinner with the family (DS cooking and SIL coming over). Well I guess it is a busy day.
Have a safe, healthy and social day!

I'm glad you have some distractions leading up to your daughter's birthday. It does sound like a busy day.
Working from home today. Wednesday there are no students in the building so it can be deep cleaned, and we have the option to work in our classrooms or at home. I'm in between online meetings right now.
I'm so tired. I didn't feel this tired at school Monday or Tuesday. The students give me energy. I hope we don't have to move to all distance learning this winter.
The sun is out, but it's a cold wind. We are in the 50s until next week when there is a predicted return to warmer temps in the 70s.
Nothing exciting scheduled until October 9/10. Pretty much just saving all my energy for work. I need to get started on some exercise plan to get my stamina back.
Amazing how the environment can provide additional energy. Be kind to yourself - your built-in energy will return.

Scale moved down a little today. I am back to what I weighed in late June now. So at least a few months of damage undone. I'm happy with my progress and actions/behaviors.
Not much planned for today. It's going to be a hot one. So indoor activity sounds good. More picking up and cleaning out, I imagine.
I didn't bother with the debate. Maybe that makes me a bad citizen, but from the recaps, I didn't miss anything but a you-know-what-show. Politics these days are such a mess anywhere you look.
Nice job backing up to June! Yeah, the debate was a debacle.

Hot here too Cec. I want fall back.
DD-glad to see your happy updates on FB.
Peps-you sound like you're doing WONDERFUL in your own skin. Congrats! Deep-diving and honesty into your own truths. It's uncomfortable (at least when I do it for myself) but the outcome is so worth it.
Liz-I'm sure that is an incredibly difficult and cherished time. Bittersweet. Hugs.
Sorry for anyone I've missed. I've been pretty scatter brained and drained and just honestly not too happy. I wish today's post would be different.
The gist is, I feel stir crazy. And not so much just being in the house, but with myself. I don't have any sense of accomplishment or fulfillment doing what I do. I wish on everything I did! Of course I do love certain moments with my girls and as soon as they pass me by, I'm sure I will miss them. But I'm bored with the mundanities of stay at home mom life. And it's a LOT of work. But a "dirty job" if ever there was one. Talk about a bad time to try and get a career back. I've only applied to a couple positions because working is hard enough with 2 kids in daycare. Add a pandemic where every sniffle and fever makes you suspect and...yeah.
12 weeks until Christmas. Wow. I think I will try and at least set a manageable health/weight/fitness goal for then. Ha. When in my life has weight ever been the one controllable variable.
It does sound like it may be time for you to get back to some sort of work but such a tough time to do so!

Greetings All
Sorry to be AWOL. I have no excuses as I have not been to busy. Just studio and gallery duties and not too heavy. Amazing what trivial stuff I can find to fill the day.
I did get in to a different eye doctor place Monday. The prior one is not seeing people for months and I really need new glasses. So this was good. New ones on order and the difference they showed me is amazing. Also interesting that it was slightly smokey outside when I went in and OMG terrible smoke when I came out an hour later. The fires are not near but man do they spread a lot of smoke!!
We did watch the debate. What a circus. I want the election over now!
DD I hope you can rest up. Don't overdo work. Not worth it. Ditto everyone. No danger in me overworking.
Must run errands and such today. Need vitamins and food to cook for dogs who are now totally spoiled thanks to DH.
Cheers all. Diane S
