Today's adventures started with getting a veterinarian appointment for our geriatric cat. My Dad still does his well kitty exams, and due to his advanced age (19), there are no vaccinations, so trips to an actual clinic are rare. He is a client at a clinic near us, even though my Dad is still his main vet, we make sure he can also use this clinic as needed. Anyhow, kitty has been kind of wobbling when he walks. No change in appetite, still jumping up on beds etc, just seemed to loss his balance a little. Diagnosis, ear infection, and he got a shot of long lasting antibiotics. So that was good news. He will be 20 this April. My daughter will be so devastated when this old guy passes on. She got him when she was 8 years old. Aside from the ear infection, he appears to be in good health, so hopefully, we won't have to confront his loss and her grief anytime soon.
I got the first of my last 4 treatments, which are called boosts. Instead of radiating the whole breast, they are now focusing the radiation on the tumor bed. Only 3 more to go!
After extra excitement, a nap is really needed. :)
Quick pop in- lunchtime here already!
Have weeded the veggie patch and the back lawn is now Cape Weed free. Chook house cleaned out and lawn seed watered. DH has just finished the paving on the back path so I figure it might be lunchtime shortly. Im hungry ? Leftover omelette DH made for brekkie n Chicken from last night.
Not sure whats on for this afternoon but will be outside - beautiful warm day but rain is predicted. No complaints- perfect lawn growing weather

DD- yay to only 3 more & hope puss feels better soon n I love sweet corn
